About The Olde Coach House Holiday Cottages
Established in 1989, The olde coach house holiday cottages were renovated by Jackie and John Spooner, the owners. John and Jackie have years of experience in the holiday cottage rental profession. The focus is on providing accommodation to guests throughout the UK. The company is located in Brockdish in the Waveney valley on the Suffolk Norfolk borders near (Diss).Helping holiday makers to relax and enjoy the 2 self catering 17th century holiday cottages throughout the year, the cottages provide guests with good quality, clean, and well equipped accommodation. The owners live in part of the olde coach house and maintain the cottages and gardens, that run down to the banks of the river Waveney.
The gardens are very peaceful, guests can relax and enjoy the wildlife kingfishers, Swans and Ducks, a good area for Owls, Otters, fishing is available in season. Hopefully the holiday will prove to be relaxing and enjoyable.
Jackie and John Spooner have maintained the cottages for many years and now find many guests return year after year, from many areas over the country. South Norfolk have many places of interest to visit: situated on the Suffolk Norfolk borders it's a great area for touring both counties many local market towns, and places of interest including Bressingham gardens, Banham Zoo, the beautiful suffolk coast, Southwold, and Minsmere. As well as many country Pubs and Resturants. An ideal area for walking, the angles way runs from Lopham fen to Great Yarmouth, and passes through the village.
Pump cottage, 2 Bedroom sleeps 4, Lounge, colour tv, woodburner, kitchen dining room.
The Hayloft sleeps 2, lounge, dining room colour tv, 1 bedroom double bed, kitchen.
The olde Laundry, 1 Bedroom with twin beds, lounge dining room, kitchen. Bathroom with walk in shower and bath.

Our stay at The Olde Coach House over the years has been wonderful. The warm welcome we received from John and Jackie is commendable to them both. As you drive through the gates the grounds open into a little bit of paradise which are beautifully presented. The accomdation itself is wonderful with everything you need, also little extra touches from Jackie and John which are always appreciated. It is very clean and presented to high standard. Maureen and I have spent many happy times with Jackie and John at their Holiday Cottages, over the years we have stayed in each of the Cottages and enjoyed the comforts and facilities of them all. The cottage was exceptionally furnished in sympathy with the age of the cottage also all utensils,crockery and linen was of the highest quality and quantity,added to this the surroundings and fishing was excellent plus a large store is provided for all of your gear.

Having spent several holidays at The Olde Coach House with our 2 cocker spaniels we would highly recommend it. The accommodation is like 'home from home', all you need and more. The dogs are able to run free and enjoy themselves in the spacious grounds that run down to the river. There is always a warm welcome from Jackie & John and nothing is ever too much trouble.
