Amanda is the owner of "the fashion studio" she studied Art and Design at Cumbria Institute of the Arts, Carlisle and has a BA in Fashion Design and Printed Textiles from Northumbria University. 10 years on the fashion studio is looking good with lots going on behind the scenes and on the website too!
Feeling positive in 2006 and with a fashion degree from Northumbria University in one hand and an Accessory Award from River Island, Graduate Fashion Week, London in the other, Amanda felt it was time to launch The Fashion Studio - Initially an idea that she had been working on in 2003 whilst collecting Vintage Fashion for design inspiration.

Bought a beautiful pair of vintage 'Satellite' earrings from 'The Fashion House'. The tiny hanging Cherubs and semi precious stones catch the light when they move and I have had lots of comments when I have worn them. Amanda the owner was very knowledgeable about her jewellery and I found her friendly and warm. Such a refreshing experience!
