Roslyn Walker is The Dales Celebrant. Ros is based near Skipton and offers funeral, memorial and scattering of ashes services throughout the Yorkshire Dales, the Ribble Valley, the Aire and Wharfe Valleys.

Drawing on many years of professional writing and presenting experience, as well as her own first-hand experience of loss, Ros creates one-off ceremonies for funerals, pre-passing celebrations of life, living funerals, memorial services, scattering of ashes and all other occasions held to remember the life of a loved one.

As your celebrant I’ll be there every step of the way, creating a heartfelt ceremony as unique as your loved one.

Whether your occasion takes place at a crematorium, burial ground or a location that’s special to you, take comfort in knowing that your special ceremony is in a very safe pair of hands. My services can include (but are not limited to):

- an initial visit to discuss your wishes
- professional support in creating a unique and fitting ceremony, service or gathering
- advice and suggestions as needed
- preparing an Order of Service
- writing a Eulogy – your loved one’s life story (for your approval or amends)
- full liaison with your Funeral Director
- inclusion of personised elements such as music, photos, film, poetry or readings
- meeting everyone attending the service on the day
- delivery of the service on the day
- a memento of the ceremony.
