The Concrete Network

They did not turn up when planned; when they did arrive they did not deliver the ordered and paid for qty. The drivers were foreign and did not speak english and had a poor attitude. We were told they were local in Kent but they came from Heathrow. I was promised refund bur nothing has been received and now they do not answer emails. Furthermore it looks like their telephone number has been cut so I think they may have gone out of business. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS LIars and scammers.

This company is fake. Took £2000 from me and no concrete ever arrived and no refund either. Lied all day saying the lorries were delayed. Look at all of the other reviews! I wish I had checked first.

Horrendous company. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! We spent almost 5k with this company for concrete. The day before the pour we were told the price had gone up by an additional £800. We cancelled the order and git our concrete elsewhere but have still not received a refund!

Was a good experience, then they rang me up, told me they were going to give me a refund because they over charged, then instead stole an additional £108 off my credit card without my permission. Must have kept a copy of my card code, as I didn't give them it again. Have reported the fraud. Gone from 5 star to 1 star. Buy your concrete elsewhere is my advice ……….

Ordered some ready mix concrete from this company. The concrete company that delivered the concrete was a local company that asked me how much I paid. When I told him the price he said that I had been 'ripped off' because if I had ordered directly from him it would have been less than half the price these people had charged. He said that what they were doing was taking an order and sub contracting it to a local firm and more than doubling the price, in my case. Concrete network also charged me an extra £30. 00 for having a wheelbarrow delivery. The local delivery concrete company do not charge for a wheelbarrow delivery. It is a complete rip off. How can they charge for a wheelbarrow delivery as extra when they are not doing the wheelbarrow delivery themselves and the contracted out company do not charge for a wheelbarrow delivery. 0 on everything. Avoid the this company called The concrete Network. I was told I was I was in the rite place to get a delivery at short notice. Time agreed and was told itd be no problem and booked in. Cost agreed and payment taken. The concrete didn't turn up. When it dint turn up I was told they'd not agreed anything and I was basically lying. They told me they didn't know where my concrete was and they didn't know when I will get it. I spoke to the actual company delivering the concrete to be told concrete network hadn't even booked my concrete in or passed payment on to the delivery company. Even though my order was never booked in the concrete network told me if I cancelled i'd be charged 50%. What a joke and disgrace of a company and staff.Moreexpand_more

Very poor service! Pulled out of delivering, concrete 3hrs before due time. Told refund would take up to a week , Staff had the attitude of not caring less , plus they are slot more expensive than the new supplier l have found.

DO NOT USE! Ordered a skip and concrete. Waited for 4 weeks to receive a refund die to incorrect product and didn't use as much concrete, only recieved 1 upto now. The people are awful, they are not interested at all. Sonny is awful, on asking him his name his reply was "I'm not giving you my name, see you in a bit mate" then hung up, he finds it all funny and said he doesn't want to speak to me each time I ring up! He is very rude. There is a 92% bad feedback rate to this company, that speaks volumes, trading standards are now also involved after I've raised a complaint with them and notified them of how many customers they are doing this to. Stay well clear of this company.

I ordered some concrete via concrete network. I paid for the concrete (£487) and booked in a slot ready to lay the oversite for my summerhouse. I had 3 people helping me to unload the concrete and I had to pay all of their wages for the day. The delivery was supposed to be between 1pm-2pm, it got to 2:45pm and I ring concrete network to ask them where my concrete was, they said unfortunately they wouldn't be delivering the concrete due to them not processing my order correctly! Even though I phoned them 24 hours prior to the delivery date to clarify. When they told me that they wasn't going to provide the concrete I told them that I had 4 people's wages to pay and that I was dependent on that concrete. They wasn't the least bit sorry and didn't care. It took me ages to get a refund and they still owe me £36 they took out of my bank account with out my permission. I would personally use a company called Redimix as their customer service is brilliant and they are very reliable. Under no circumstances would I ever use concrete network again.Moreexpand_more

Do NOT use, took money, did not deliver and when I asked for a refund they want to charge me £50 service charge for concrete they did not deliver. I was already out of pocket paying for the workmen to wait around all day for nothing. Rude, scammers, liars and thieves!

The worst company out there scammers due to telling you one price and then charge you more then won’t pay it back Don’t use this company just call concrete company directly you get a better deal .

Most expensive concrete ever and poor customer service. Beware companys service charges and penalties. Go direct instead.

Ordered concrete for Wed between 9-11, day before arrival was told that they can't do this time slot, but can deliver later. I asked for next day delivery and they did not deliver at all. Called customer service and was told, that they have made a mistake and forgot to order it. Cancelled order and used different company. .

Ripoff scammers are not a concrete business but just brokers charging you more.

Simply awful. The worst I can review is 1 star not a negative star. Use this company at your own peril. They use sub contractors which they call partners. Joke. The Network charged me for extra concrete and had to fight tooth and nail to get my money back as they didn't prove how much they actually poured! There partners made such an awful mess I had to pay a professional to clear it up. The network weren't interested. Having tried to liaise with the network they simply fob you off left right and center. Had to proceed with legal action to get it resolved. Look at other reviews and see for yourself. They will reply and make a pitiful reply, we wish we could have done more on this occasion, etc. Pathetic customer service. Would I use them again? Never! I ordered and payed for concrete and concrete pump to be delivered - made a complete hash up of order sent concrete then a few hours later sent concrete pump. Admitted they had messed up but now refusing to redeliver as they want me to pay for their mistake. Stay well clear of this company.

Brilliant service from start to finish, Euan dealt with my order in a quick and professional manner. VERY PLEASED.

Do not use this company. Cancelled our delivery for 9am on a Saturday last minute on a Friday with an unrealistic reason. No management were ever available to speak to. Only ever put through to a call centre which do not care for the customers or have any insight into the actual work. Once they have your money it all goes downhill from there. Much cheaper and less stressful to go straight to individual suppliers than this call centre. Save your money and mentality by not using this company.

1. The delivered less concrete than I ordered and paid for. 2. The delivery was over TWO HOURS later than PROMISED. 3. The Customer Service aftercare is abysmal.

Really helpful company, managed to arrange a next day delivery at a brilliant price.
