Contacted Nigel 3 days before Christmas he has done the repair on our tv got it back to us for Christmas great service and a true gentleman to deal with would highly recommend thank you nigel.
After informing Nigel of my problem with my television today, he went through a few options with me. He told me to call back if it didn't work but Bingo it did! We were most grateful as we thought we'd be buying a new TV today. Many thanks Nigel. Regards. Shann Morgan. & Happy Cristmas.
Couldn’t find anyone in my area/ Cardiff to prepare a diagnostic report, I contacted Nigel who was able to help. Can’t thank him enough for all the help and advice he gave.
Nigel really is a master of his craft. He identified multiple issues with the Samsung TV, investigated all options and was honest in his assessment in that it was not economically viable to repair it due to board and screen issues. Nigel sent us images to show what the screen looked like after replacing boards. Nigel even went above and beyond by looking if Samsung still stocked the screens. Any TV issues in future will be sent to Nigel to review for sure.
Enquired via e-mail on the issue with my tv and got a very quick and honest response. Whilst it wasn’t necessarily the answer I hoped for, it has saved me a lot of time, effort and money for which I am very grateful. Thank you. Would highly recommend using this service.
Our Panasonic TV developed a thin horizontal line across the screen. Nigel asked for me to send photos as we are just outside of Cardiff (Dinas Powys) and his area. Photos sent by text and within 20 mins Nigel had responded. Unfortunately. The TV couldnt be repaired! There was no charge and no call out cost for this fantastic service. Nigel stated he thinks it is unethical to charge a call out fee to then tell a customer that their TV cannot be repaired. He could do this by a photo in this case. What a refreshing approach to business in this age of take, take, take! Thank you Nigel! Excellent repair by Nigel and Customer service picked up TV Tuesday returning Thursday fair price highly recommend and 6 month warranty.
Very pleased with the work carried out by Nigel, Iv got a ten year old samsung LED TV which stopped working got in touch with Abertillery digital tv, diagnosed the problem (Edge back light failure)and how much it cost to fix, which I was happy to pay, Nigel kept me informed by text of what was happening and its like having a brand new tv? .
Excellent communication throughout. Saved me money on buying a new tv, when all I needed was for the backlight to be replaced. Thank you Nigel.
Nigel is very knowledgable and experienced. He assessed two TVs of ours with different problems and over the weekend advised next steps. His honesty was much appreciated - and no risk was taken: in this case a repair was not possible and his advice was to go back to the retailer with a claim which he provided supporting documentation for. Definitely recommended as a great contact to have with TV problems.
Nigel diagnosed the issue quickly with photos provided and quoted with a great price. Samsung UE60KU6000 Tv needed a new Back Light pack, supplied and installed in a professional manner. Thank you so much Nigel I would highly recommend. 5 Stars.
My Sony TV stopped working (red light flashing where there should be a constant white light). I contacted Nigel who said that the problem could be fixed. Within a few hours of dropping the TV off at his premises, Nigel contacted me and told me what the fault was and what the price for parts and labour would be. Nigel had to send away for the replacement part. Repair was done at the agreed price and I now have a working TV. A very good service from Nigel. .
Nigel gave impeccable service on my Mother's TV, he replied right away and organised a drop off time and within a few days we had the TV back in fully working order. I thought that it would be better to buy a new TV because it would be expensive to repair but the cost was far cheaper than buying a new TV and it meant that I wasn't throwing away a good quality unit. If you're debating repairing then I would suggest speaking to Nigel and making an informed decision based on his extensive experience and knowledge. I would highly recommend using Abertillery TV Repairs and have already send a friend to him for repairs on his TV.
