This was a brilliant course and I found it extremely helpful in going forwards in my career. Julie is a truly fantastic trainer. She brings professionalism as well as fun, which makes the course enjoyable. I was really excited to do this course and was quite sad when it was over! Thank you Julie x.
EXCEL-lent training day. Our trainer Chris was really helpful and spend a lot of time covering the topics we wanted and not just a standard format of delivery. He was very clear and covered content in a concise way and spent a lot of 1-1 time with attendees. I would definitely recommend.
Great course. Felt at ease all the way through. Tutor very encouraging. Great manual. Was nervous at first about the interactive exercises but they were really good. Got to know the people on the course and also learnt how to listen! Came away feeling much more confident and hopefully will embrace minute taking rather than dreading them! Also, the tutor made us all feel that we were more important - and we were not on our own. Everyone at the meeting is part of a team.
I attended a minute taking course in April 2013 which I found to be very useful however, I have been left very disappointed at the standard of customer service following a further two courses I tried to book with Taylor Mason in October 2013. Both courses were rescheduled twice due to lack of interest so I decided to request a refund and source an alternative course. Despite an assurance from Taylor Mason that we would recieve a full refund for both courses, 5 months later we are still waiting for our money and have recieved extremely poor customer service from this company - they have ignored our requests for a refund. I would definately not recommend using Taylor Mason.
I received the Supervisor Training course from Taylor Mason. The course was really great. Upon booking, we had some troubles as I was keen to book on, but unfortunately others kept dropping out! The course was rescheduled twice before they offered to come to my office and train me. This is what boosted the service rating above. The trainer was great and we were able to focus on my specific needs. We spent the day going through models of management techniques and talking through what I should do in different situations. Very good course and deserving of the above rating.
Touch Typing. I sent 3 delegates to this course. All 3 were delighted with the approach which was not as expected, but has seemed to be most effective. The Tutor was excellent and rang the delegates prior to the course, and has kept in touch since. Very pleased and would use Taylor Mason again.
The trainer was knowledgeable on the subject, he made the training sector specific and relevant for our needs, he gave us opportunity for relevant discussion and left us with some good quality training resources, - The training was both useful and interesting, although I've already shared the information with my Vice Principal I think it would be very useful for her to attend similar training. - I learnt that speed and efficiency is the essence of good customer service techniques.
I felt the venue was too cramped, too hot. The course materials supplied were of poor quality. The aim of the course was an introduction into project management but I felt the title of this course was very misleading. There was alot of repetition, too much time was spent on unecessary subjects, sorry to say I was very disappointed with the course.
I attended the report writing course on 28 September 2012. My main objective was to learn about the principles of good report writing and ensure that future reports I produced were in line with these principles. I learned that preparation and structure were very important factors and feel that I have appled this to the reports I have drafted since the course.
