With our fabulous shop now in its 17th year, Tapestry Cakes is a well established cake studio, with over 30 years experience in the cake decorating industry.

As bespoke cake makers, our cakes are baked and decorated to realise your dreams and we specialise in the sculpted 3D cakes that other cake makers are afraid of! We specialise in fondant and novelty cakes which sets us apart from the modern buttercream cakes.

But we don't just make cakes.

We are also the largest sugar craft and cake decorating supplies shop in the area with our unique shop stocking many cake decorations from glitter and edible lace to sugar flowers, bling and even unicorns!

We do of course sell the essentials like boards, boxes and cupcakes supplies, edible printing and we have over 50 shades of sugar paste and 200 varieties of sprinkles!

And we have an ever growing stock of tools, moulds, cutters, stencils and piping tips.

We also hire out baking tins, stands and silicone moulds.

Open 10 am til 6 pm Tuesday to Saturday with a late night shopping til 8pm on Wednesdays.

We are a husband and wife team and between us have over 30 years of experience and qualifications in cake decorating, art, textiles, construction, design and colour management. We set up the shop in 2008 as a need grew for our unique services and then it just carried on growing! We now supply to at least 500 other cake decorators in the area.
