We can't recommend Paul and Carol enough. From the moment we enquired to the final email with our wedding slideshow and photos the service is so personal and the work they produce is professional, the advice and guidance and support was incredible. What an amazing couple who ooze passion and are so friendly and accomodating. My husband did not want to invest in photographers when we started the wedding budget but I can wholeheartedly say he now agrees it was the 2nd best decision he made besides marrying me:-).

Paul and Carol came very highly recommended - and from our very first meeting with them, we could see why. We were absolutely delighted with every aspect of their service from the very beginning - their advice was invaluable and their professionalism on the day was truly outstanding. The mark of truly good wedding photography is for the perfect pictures to be taken, without noticing that they’re being taken. This was certainly the case, as they captured so many wonderful moments without ever being remotely intrusive. To say that we were really pleased with everything is an understatement - family, friends and colleagues have all commented on how excellent the photos are - both the ones for the main album and all the additional ones. The highlights slideshow was also a lovely idea - the music chosen was so appropriate, as were the photos selected. It was really quite emotional watching it, which we repeatedly do. We can’t thank them enough for their outstanding work and will always be full of praise for them because, as far as we are concerned, they made the perfect photographic record of our perfect day.

Since getting our photos back from Paul and Carol, we have not been able to stop looking at them. Words cannot describe how perfectly they captured our wedding day - from the vibrant colours in every photo to the emotions on everyone’s faces, every shot they took is simply stunning. On the day, both Paul and Carol were polite, professional and amazing to work with. We really did forget that they were there! Out of the dozens of photographers we approached, we ended up choosing Paul and Carol as our photographer for our wedding in Summer 2022 and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. They are very professional and clearly veterans in what they do, they also gave us advice from their experience for what to plan and expect during our big day. They were very open and communicable whenever we had any queries leading up to our big day. During our wedding, they were so friendly and we loved their subtle approach in addition to their silent cameras, which made it feel as if they blended into the background. Their presence also made us feel very comfortable and neither our guests or ourselves ever felt that we needed to pose or look at the cameras. When we received our photos, we were stunned by the quality and quantity of the pictures they took. Every photo was incredible, detailed and captured all the special moments, which brought us lots of happy memories looking back. We got married two weeks ago and cannot recommend Paul and Carol highly enough, we were so lucky to have them both shoot for us on the day! From our first call (where we mainly talked about Italian food and drink! ), we knew we were in very safe hands; they are such a warm and compassionate couple who obviously love what they do and are extremely good at it. They encapsulate the reportage photography style - we felt we were able to completely enjoy the flow of the day as it all unfolded, and Paul and Carol unobtrusively captured all of the wonderful moments as they happened. The photos are absolutely stunning, our friends and family love them and we can't stop looking through them - all the emotions of the day have been captured in these amazing freeze frames of moments. It's going to be very difficult to choose which ones to print as they are all amazing! We loved sharing moments with Paul and Carol throughout the day, and in the morning they were both so supportive and kind when we were feeling nervous and excited.

We chose Tansley Photography for our wedding at Ramster Hall in May 2019 and we are so glad we did. Our wedding photos are absolutely beautiful, we love them and everyone has remarked on how fantastic our photos are. I would highly recommend booking both Paul and Carol - they work brilliantly together, one can be with the bridal party getting ready, and the other with the groomsmen, as well as both being able to capture all the key moments throughout the day and getting those artistic shots. My wife and I knew how important our photos would be to us, so we did quite a lot of research to find someone that we could really trust with such an awesome responsibility on our big day. We wanted to capture the story of the day and the emotion, rather than lots of posed photos, so we were really drawn to the documentary style that Carol and Paul do. Once we met them, we knew that they understood what we wanted. They 'got us' (and we 'got them'). At our first meeting we spent more time talking about gin and wine than anything else :-). We put our complete trust in Paul and Carol and they didn't let us down. Their unobtrusive approach works perfectly, blending in and capturing what is going on. On the day, they were really flexible, adapting to what was going on around them. They were basically guests at our wedding, which made everything feel so natural. We spent a long time researching wedding photographers and we could not have been happier with the photographs produced by Paul and Carol. Everything from the prior communication, quality, their individual styles and their presence on the day was fantastic; their top of the range cameras meant we couldn't even hear the photos being taken, a factor we hadn't previously considered. Alongside the candid shots of our guests, we had some couples photographs towards the end of the day when the light was beautiful and the guests were enjoying a drink. These photos are simply stunning and will be treasured. This was the reason we chose Paul and Carol - so much experience and the ability to give direction. Paul and Carol created an absolutely wonderful set of memories of our wedding day, which we will treasure. On the day itself, they were kind and relaxed. They fitted in around us and our families. They captured lovely moments throughout the day without us noticing and without any staging. Very impressive. They made a great team, being in different places around the venues to capture different events and angles. It was clear that afterwards, they had also done a lot of work to put together a really meaningful album which picked out key events and told the story of our wedding day. I was really impressed that without direction from us they had picked up quickly on who our closest family and friends were and made sure that there was at least one great shot of everyone really special, some great candid ones of people who normally hate having their photo taken and pull terrible camera smiles. This was a real surprise and delight when we looked through the full album afterwards. I would absolutely recommend Paul and Carol to others who want natural, but fantastic quality photos. Paul and Carol were fantastic on our wedding day and we are truly overwhelmed with our wedding images that captured the day perfectly.

Paul was amazing throughout the whole process - we contacted him VERY close to the wedding date as we only decided to get a photographer very last minute. He was incredibly helpful and accommodating, and gave us all the info we needed. On the day itself, he was excellent - constantly moving around to get really natural photos, we were really surprised to look through the photos afterwards to see just how many he'd taken. He also was happy to do some posed family shots for us too. The photos themselves are beautiful - a mix of black and white and colour - and all of really good quality. Thanks very much Paul, you captured our day perfectly, and we'd definitely recommend you to anyone needed a wedding photographer.

Paul was fantastic from start to finish. We needed someone who was able to accommodate some uncertainty about the wedding date due to international visa processing issues. He was so flexible but professional, and stayed in touch throughout the time leading up to the wedding. On the day itself he was very personable and easygoing. He did everything unobtrusively, and we wound up with a portfolio of natural, expressive shots. We can't stop staring at the pics honestly! All of our guests' personalities really shine through the pics, in such a beautiful and flattering way. We are so happy with our choice.

From start to finish Paul was exceptional! When we began the process of searching for our wedding phtographer we were bith overwhelmed with the amount of choice available! We managed to narrow it down to 2 and decided to go with Paul for a number of reasons - his style, the galleries were incredible, his reviews - the highest on google and his helpfulness- I was emailing with endless questions and Paul amswered them all honestly and fully. I met with Paul a few weeks before the big day to discus things and he opened my mind to things I did not even consider! I left the meeting having more of an idea how the day would go and what sort of time scale I could expect for group shots etc. On the day Paul arrived where I was getting ready, his collegue at the venue with my husband and they just went to work. I genuenly have no idea how they got half the shots in our wedding album as I just dont remember seeing them! We got married in late December and still had our first look gallery early January! In the end we recieved just under 700 shots and I must have looked through them 700 times! Paul captured moments I did nit even remember - they are purely magical! Paul and Carol photographed our wedding at St Mary's and Froyle Park in July and we cannot thank them enough for the photos they produced. They captured our entire day and the emotion of our wedding perfectly. The lovely thing about their style is that their photos tell a story, which was particularly important to us as we had decided not to have a videographer. Paul and Carol were unobtrusive, and in the nicest possible way we barely noticed they were there. However, their photos show they were everywhere, capturing everything.
