To start with I had put down a £500 deposit to secure the car for a certain day so I could come and collect it because Of my job I have very limited time. On the day only to find half way to Peterborough I get a phone call saying I can’t pick the car up because of an airbag fault which shows to me that the checking of the car was left last minute even though I put my deposit down 8 days prior. I then kept trying to contact them for a week and the operator said that the person in charge will call me back ASAP and they never did. I eventually talked to someone who said I could pick up the car on Thursday the 27th of August which is 6 days after we agreed in the first place and I was not even compensated for The delay which I had to take time off work to make because I was kept waiting. Now I have the car, it was advertised with satnav only to find that the satnav unit is missing so it doesn’t work, it looks like some one has put second hand tyres on the car and they were not balanced at all so there was a lot of vibration when on the motor way and the car wasn’t even valeted because there were stains all over the seats and there was a carpet missing so if they think this is acceptable, it’s far from it. Absolutely disgusting dealership.

Pre sale very good service but after sales and communication terrible. If I didn't love the car I purchased it would have been returned within the period. Firstly, on the day of picking up my new car, I arrived at my appointment time and was left waiting around 30 mins before I even spoke to someone to start the process. The whole process took over an hour and a half and when I collected the car finally, the bonnet wasn't shut, the number plate was broken and noticed there was still parking tickets in the dashboard. Not to mention the fuel tank was completely empty on ZERO miles and the refusal to give me any amount of fuel to get home, I find this service atrocious considering I had the decency to fill some petrol in my part exchange vehicle prior to handing in - never received this poor service in my 3. 5 years of going direct to AUDI Peterborough. Wish I never changed dealership now. On arrival home, I noticed there was no car mats and no parcel shelf, both of which wasn't stated prior to purchase that they wouldn't be included. The mats I ended up buying myself and then when questioning the parcel shelf I was told it never came with the car (at no point was this mentioned to me prior). This costs £90 second hand as they are impossible to buy new so I am completely dissatisfied with this and the fact they wouldn't offer to pay or say they would replace this as a good will gesture. When buying a 16K car you would expect excellent after sales instead of being fobbed off. UNHAPPY customer and won't be buying another vehicle from them again.Moreexpand_more

On viewing the showroom and purchasing the car everything was ok but when we went to pick up the car the following week we had to wait almost an hour as the car hadn’t been valeted, was told the manual was in the car and when we got home there was no manual, so rang the showroom 5 times now and just been pushed from pillar to post and promised to order us one but still have no manual, not very happy and wouldn’t use again as they don’t seem bothered about after service once they’ve got your money.

Bad service? No return phone calls? No car after 3 weeks? Then you've been to SW cars! In summary … Picked my dream car (over £15000 cash) and waited patiently for 2 weeks whilst they repaired all the imperfections. Then the day before I'm due to pick it up… Turns out they've done no mechanical checks and either the clutch or gearbox has gone. A huge concern seen as I had taken it out for a test drive… What else dont they check I wonder? Followed by a week of daily phone calls to find out what was happening made by my end with absolutely no return calls I finally gave up. Apparently the reason for this service was (quote) "young management". Whatever you do, do not waste your time and certainly your money with this con of a business. Shocking doesnt even cover it. The car selling process was good. The salesman was helpful and they had a few different types of car to look at that I was interested in. The aftersales 'service' is awful. Multiple issues now with the car in excess of £2000 (when you buy a 15k car it's not right! ) and I'm having to go through the Ombudsman due to rude staff and manager who wouldn't help resolve. .

I saw a couple of poor reviews about SW. It unfortunate that they have gone through the problems they have. I am now in my third car through SW, I have always found great value, great service and great quality both before and after sales. A small issue I had with my 3rd car was dealt with quickly and without fuss. I always see them busy, with a lot of positive conversations whenever I am around looking for a new car, either for myself or my friends and/or family. I have no problems recommending SW to whoever is looking to buy a nearly new car ? .

If I could give a minus I would. Paying over 12k for a car to find out the ‘checklist’ was pretty much worthless isn’t the best experience… 7 months after purchase I have bills in excess of £3k with another £4K recommended (this excludes the new tyres it needed) The so called customer service has been horrendous, the branch manager and service team have been rude and ridiculously unhelpful. I’ve started action against them as they sold me a car simply not fit for purpose with either a falsified checklist or it’s the person who compeleted it is incompetetent. The customer service is great when they want your money… After that, they couldn’t care less. I would rather walk everywhere for the rest of my life than deal with these amateurs. Avoid like the plague.

Went to view a car, given plenty time to look around. No pushy salesman, chose a car test drove and what a beauty. It was better than described fell I Love with it, what great value too. If looking for a nearly new motor then look no further, you won't be disappointed at the vast selection of quality motors on display.

Very poor service and incompetence. Was not even offered tea as they said nothing is for free, but the wait was too long. Arrogant staff would not like to deal with them anymore.

A lot of time wasted with this company, I had finance set up with my own company to buy a car. I repeatedly told david this was the case but he kept deflecting what I was saying. He obviously wanted to set finance up himself for some extra commission. While that was going on I asked to look at the car, david left me with the car and I started the engine and while running I revved it up a little to hear a slight nasty transmission noise. I then asked to test drive it and as I had the finance set up and drove down to peterborough from essex ( 2. 5 hours ) I would think I would be entitled to a test drive. But no apparently they don't do test drives at sw car super market! I repeatedly asked but got no where. There whole operation is a joke. Listen to me when I say THEY WILL NOT LET YOU TEST DRIVE THE CARS, David said because they are crammed in but even still any good garage will let you do this, I would never buy a £13k car without a test drive. They then all seemed one by one to come out and give me the hard sell for a deposit. I left soon after, 5 hours on a sunday wasted. I had a lucky escape as I contacted a lady who bought a car from them ( a miss rio sopp ) as she left a comment on there facebook page. She bought a car from them which the engine was faulty, they still have her car 5 weeks later and she has had terrible experience with them. Ask her your self through facebook. I found a car and had a good service from another dealer in the end, they are out there. Please listen to me and avoid this company. They appear genuine but spend enough time with them and you will see the cracks. I would also question there positive feedback on here is actually genuine?Moreexpand_more

Very good value for the car, absolutely terrible customer service! We were treated like a waste of space by David- our salesman. We were in a bit of a rush, so we asked David for the keys for one of the cars to have a quick look inside and then come back the next day and make a final decision based on our viewing of the car. However, we were appalled when he refused to give us the keys unless we were definitely going to purchase the car there and then! We left straight away, and we wont be coming back again. Very disappointed by the poor salesmanship illustrated by David, as were extremely interested in buying the car! The customer service from the SW salesman was terrible, and despite the car being excellent- WE WONT BE COMING BACK.

I wanted to post a few words about my overall experience at sw car dealership, having been recommended by my work colleagues. I was really impressed by the enthusiasm shown by the sales staff, not like a dealership nearby that lost interest in me straight away when I said I wanted to take time to think about my purchase. I did spot one car with a scratch on the wing, but David the salesman reassurred me that would be attended too, but due to the paint shop being busy and the arrival of 30 new cars had 'slipped the net'. I have bought cars from main dealers for many years, and quite frankly have spent more than I needed too. These guys at sw are definitely going to sell me my next car, their prices are brilliant-thanks also for the workshop tour, and the chat with your mechanic! Great experience, highly recommend.

I bought my BMW 1 series from SW Car Sales just over 4 months ago and have been meaning to write this review since. I searched around for the best deal on the internet before going to view the car. When I got to SW I was in no doubt about my purchase. The car was exactly as shown on the internet and in fantastic condition, unlike some others I had wasted my time on seeing at other garages. The service was second to none, making the purchase was hassle free. I will be returning for my next car.
