Excellent course. Well structured .

We received top class training from Garry, who was highly informative and experienced and also a very relatable, friendly and engaging trainer. He kept everyone interested and his resources and materials were really valuable. In addition to providing quality training, Garry has also been extremely helpful and organised and has great systems set up for bookings, reminders and certificates. I must give Garry even more credit for being willing to help us out when we needed it at short notice, he went the extra mile and that was incredibly helpful. I recommend him highly and would use him again. Thank you Garry and team!

An excellent course with knowledgeable and experienced trainers. Practical skills and a good amount of theory too, helping to support understanding of symptoms and treatments. Excellent equipment including resussi Anni, ressussi junior and resussi baby, plus a vest to enable practicing stomach thrusts and back slaps for choking. Trainers Nikki and Kaz were great and led the course with sensitivity and made adjustments as needed.

Full of information and updates whilst having fun learning with the whole team. Highly recommended! Definitely will be booking again for the next annual training. .

We have been using Sussex First Aid to provide our annual CPR and medical emergencies training now for several years. We are very happy with the extremely informative and fun sessions delivered but the wonderful Nikki. Would highly recommend them for your training needs.

This morning I completed a refresher course with Garry and Nikki, the course is very well organised, made to feel very welcome and presented in a very clear to understand and fun relaxed way. Very highly recommended! I really have learnt a lot from them, thank you! And would recommend everyone to learn a life saving skill.

Tilgate Forest Seniors Golf Club organised a heart attack/Cardiac arrest demo through Sussex First Aid Courses for their members. Paramedic Garry Perkins was excellent in his knowledge and demonstration. Members learned the difference between a heart attack and a cardiac arrest and how to carry out CPR aided with a AED. I would recommend this one hour demo to any Golf Club out there.

Garry is an outstanding trainer with a wealth of experience from a long career emergency care. I have benefitted from his training more than once and would highly recommend his training.

Garry Perkins taught me and my daughter on a child and baby first aid course. He was great - very informative but in a relaxed style of instructing that made it easy to take in the vital information we needed to remember. Definitely recommend. Thanks Garry.

My partner and I had a first aid course with Garry and we found his course excellent. Garry has such a great way of delivering life-saving information (that you really should know about) as a paramedic while being practical and down to earth with the knowledge. It was informative, memorable and I genuinely felt like I retained everything he said. 10/10.

Another excellent session with Gary from Sussex First Aid courses today. Always informative, up to date and engaging. We’ve had Gary update our first aid training yearly for the last 5 years and we certainly wouldn’t think of trusting anyone else. It’s clear he has a passion for delivering outstanding care which makes it that much more enjoyable to learn from him.

Garry was great! Very engaging delivery of course content. I felt very comfortable to ask any questions and have completed my course feeling much more confident in ILS.

Gary was a brilliant instructor of ILS/BLS. He was informative, energetic, understood the importance of human factors and made the course highly relevant. His on the road experience is invaluable and he kept us engaged for the whole day. Can't recommend enough.

Garry very kindly agreed to do our ILS training at short notice. He visited us last Saturday at Pearl Dental Clinic. Garry's training is concise, informative and fun. We all thoroughly enjoyed our training session with him and learnt a lot. His fees are very reasonable. We hope to see him again in future years.

A big thank you to Nicky who came out to us today at Windmill Dental Practice and hosted our CPR training. The training was very informative, and she explained all the processes in terms that everyone understood, especially as we had a new member of staff present. She went through our emergency kit and gave us tips on how to make improvements, so that should there be a medical emergency we would be better prepared is always helpful. I learnt a few new things today also which I’ve made a note of to implement on my return to work Monday. Thank you Nicky for a knowledgeable, and enjoyable training session. We look forward to seeing you again next time.

Gary has just organised training for our team this week, as he has done for the last few years. Every time it feels like a true refresher, every time I learn a different slant, an extra little reminder of what to do in the heat of the emergency. Highly professional and totally practical. All of our team including receptionists, nurses and Doctors benefited and told me how much they had got out of the session. Highly recommended. Thank you!
