I had my first hair transplant with another company in the UK in 2019 and had a really bad experience and disappointing results. I decided I needed a second hair transplant to improve on the density following my first transplant as it was very thin and I wasn't happy with it. I found the surgery group online and did a lot of research looking at reviews and their social media, etc before contacting them but I'm really glad I did! Matthew was very helpful and provided me with all the information I needed before the procedure and I got to speak to the surgeon (Dr Ish) before the procedure to make sure I was a suitable candidate and set my mind at rest which was really helpful! On the day of the surgery, I went to the clinic which was in a really nice modern building, and met Dr. Ish and his team. They were friendly, kind, and professional and put me at ease during the procedure which went really well and it was like night and day when compared to my first experience. Jake has been really helpful with the aftercare advice and it's been great to have someone you can ask questions to if there's anything you're worried about. I'm 5 weeks post-procedure now and the healing process has been really easy and the redness etc has already gone which I think is down to Dr. Ish's excellent work and the aftercare advice I received. I’m currently two weeks post-op and to date I’ve had a great experience with the Surgery Group and with Dr Mani. Every step of the way: the first phone call, the video consultation, the operation, and post-op, I’ve barely had to lift a finger and had every one of my questions answered and all of my worries put to ease. Jake has been incredibly helpful the whole way, arranging things behind the scenes, such as consultations and hotels, and answering my many, many questions all round the clock, even at 11:30pm. Both Dr Mani and Jake have displayed extreme professionalism in how they have conducted themselves but have done so in a really easy going, down-to-earth manner, which really helps to put your nerves at ease for what some find quite a daunting procedure. The price was really great as well compared to some of the other quotes I got. I ended up getting 2200 grafts (FUE) for £4000 in total. I have to admit that, up until the moment I shook Dr Mani’s hand, I was about 30% sure it was too good to be true and that I had been conned out of my money. I actually googled ‘surgery group scam’ a couple of times. I am just under 11 months post op and I am absolutely over the moon with my results. The whole process has really been fantastic and I would highly recommend Surgery Group to anyone! My hair had been bothering me for 10 years, every time the wind blew I could just feel my confidence drop! I contacted many clinics but none could match the professionalism or price of Surgery Group! Before the procedure my patient coordinator Matthew was very honest and gave me all the information I needed with regards to the whole process. Matthew was also very friendly and at no point did I feel pressured into anything. All the advice I was given was targeted towards getting me the best results and as a customer I felt valued and respected. On the day of the procedure everything went smoothy and I felt at ease from the very start. Dr Ish (who actually happens to be a brain surgeon) and his team were brilliant and extremely professional. Throughout the procedure I felt comfortable and the only real pain I felt was a bit of a sting when I having the injections. Lunch was also provided, which was another nice touch in this first class experience. After the procedure my patient coordinator Matthew constantly checked that I was ok and was available 24/7 to answer any questions I had. No query too big or small, Matthew would always reply within 10 minutes and it actually felt more like taking advice from old friend. After my recovery, Matthew continued to stay in touch to track my progress and give advice, he also checks in on me regularly to this day. This was my second hair transplant so I thought that I knew what to expect but my experience with Surgery Group has been something else. I got a price within a few minutes and was speaking to the surgeon a couple of days later. Matthew and Jake have been amazing with the aftercare and they seem as happy as I am with the results.
