Look no further for your stove installer. John is very knowledgeable, honest and, personally dedicated to customer satisfaction. He responded to an email within 10 minutes, after an early problem with my Aspect 5. It was diagnosed over the phone and rectified. An expensive load of logs, not actually below 20% humidity had caused the problem. He even offered to come out on a Sunday if the problem wasn't solved. Tommy's work is faultless. He is meticulous with his cleanliness and the fine details. Making sure the stove is perfectly level, if your hearth is slightly uneven. He has to get it right. After expert advice on the state of my old chimney and specialist chimney sweeping, the installation could finally go ahead. It was a pleasure dealing with John with his extensive knowledge and expertise in giving advice about installing a wood stove. He guided us in the right direction for the best flue and stove for our small space. Tommy installed the Charnwood stove in two days with the least amount of disruption and always cleaned up at the end of the day. A beautiful beam/mantel was also put up which finished the job nicely. I have been very happy with the service provided by Suffolk Stove Installations. We had a victorian open fire and wanted to replace it with a wood burner. I appreciated that I was able to communicate with John by email and he always replied promptly and he helped me through the options and decisions that had to be made. After a search of the internet looking for a company to replace our current stove, I came across Suffolk Stove Installations. After reading the reviews and going through their website, I made contact with them. John responded and I had a long conversation with him, and was impressed by his knowledge and willingness to ensure I was happy with his suggestions. Some photographs were sent over of the property and John provided an excellent and reasonable quote for the job and we agreed a date. I was unsure of the final stove to be installed, and John arranged for both to be there on the day so we could make a final decision. He was able to move the date forward which we thought was great. On the day Tommy came over to do the install. He was excellent ensuring that he had all his dust sheets down to minimise any mess. He took the time to chat and keep us informed all the way through and regularly cleaned any mess up. Once he had finished, we sat down and he talked through the stove, how it worked along with some handy tips on the correct way to use it. Overall both John and Tommy were knowledge, experienced and their goal was to ensure we were happy with the product and service. Suffolk Stoves cleared the old fireplace out (including some 6 inches of concrete the old gas fire was sitting on! ), made good the new fireplace and installed a new wood burner, flue and slate hearth. All done to the time and budget quoted. Really happy with the end result and the workmanship. John and Tommy are very knowledgeable and found them to be very helpful. Highly recommended.
