After moving to Copenhagen 7 years ago, I still visit London multiple times a year so Naoko can cut and colour my hair. Her attention to detail, precision and creative eye leaves me satisfied every time. I am yet to find another hairdresser who does the most amazing, seamless, natural highlights. Naoko is also really knowlegeable on scalp care which I have appreciated. I would and have recommended her to many.

I always feel like I'm springing out of the salon like some American movie. Creative director Mark never lets me do weird fashion things, he keeps my look classic and everyone always comments when I've been. I always make sure I have somewhere to go afterwards so I don't waste my amazing voluminous blow dry. Top marks.

I had my hair cut by Roberto. It took 25 minutes for Roberto to cut, wash, blow dry and style my hair. In terms of value for money, considering the time taken, at £35 this was the most expensive haircut I've ever had. Importantly, the cut was very generic, and I feel that it wasn't individualised to my own hair type and head shape. As a result, my hair was cut so that it was very fluffy on top and had no shape to it. Quite honestly, I felt that I could of had a better result at a barbers for £10. I was very disappointed, but I did not feel comfortable criticising Roberto's work in front of other clients.

I guarantee you will not be disappointed by a trip to suedey. I agree with all comments from previous reviewers here. Mark is technically an outstanding hairdresser. He really knows how to style cut and tone all uniquely to your own personal needs and requirements. I couldnt recommend highly enough.

I followed Mami to Suedey. I won't let anyone else do my highlights. She is great. Yesterday with a few words I tried to explain how I wanted to cut my son's hair and she immidiately got it and it was a beautiful cut. He is 11 and was so pleased. She is really skilled at everything.

I had a free haircut in return for being a model for a masterclass session here. The place is very friendly, but professional at the same time. This has to have been the best haircut I have ever had, and it is clear from the techniques used that the stylists are all very skilled. I have already recommended it to a number of friends, and will continue to do so!

Mark is a fantastic hairdresser. He cuts and colours to suit the person, their colouring, their profile. He creates lasting stylish cuts and wow is he good at analysing skin tone and selecting spot on colour. So he is technically brilliant - and he is super professional and provides calm, attentive and convivial service. His salon is a haven for any hair in need of a revitalising or restyling. I've been having my hair cut at Mark's salon for a year now. I found his salon by chance one day I was looking for a coffee shop near the British library. Coincidently I was on the look out for a new hair dresser who had good colour experience. I wish I found him sooner. He really is good.

What an all round joyous experience – a hairdresser who was able to share his vision and wisdom whilst really listening to what I wanted. Mark’s attention to detail and professionalism shone through – he has some how managed to combine his skills and talent with a relaxing atmosphere, friendly service, great humour, and on top of that, a fantastic hair “do” – another completely satisfied customer!

Mark has been transforming my hair since 2005. I have never been disappointed. I always leave slightly elated whether it is a new style, a slight modification on the previous style or a new colour. The new salon is great, and Mark is, as ever, charming.

I have been seeing Naoko for over 10 years now and I trust no one else but her with cutting and colouring my hair. I have had trouble with my thick, frizzy hair for a long time and she truly knows how to manage my hair properly better than anyone else I've been to. She always takes the time to talk me through what she's going to do especially when it comes to colouring my hair and she always tries new products on my hair which leaves it so nice and silky. I love going to the Suedey salon as it is such a nice and relaxing atmoshphere. I like having Naoko as my hair dresser so much that all my family are her clients. I would say if your looking for a brilliant hair cut or colour then Suedey and Naoko is definately the place to go! Naoko is not just a great hair dresser but also becomes a friend.

Mark is a remarkable stylist, and has transformed my relationship with my hair and my complete image since I started visiting him. He is patient, listens to what you hope to achieve, and has a huge knowledge of tips, tricks and products to help you form a style that suits you. Mark always has plenty of time for you, and his salon is a real place of tranquility in a superb location. Having your hair styled at Suedey means that the style you leave with is the style you maintain, and it is always exactly what you hope for. I can't recommend Mark and Suedey enough. Go!

I cannot recommend Mark highly enough. I've had long hair for years and was completely fed up with expensive trips to hairdressers, who were rushed and impersonal and left me with hair looking exactly the same. I even started trimming it myself to avoid that experience. An upcoming interview forced me into action and with astounding luck I found myself in Mark's salon. He was focused, unhurried, personable, highly skilled and delivered the results. I left on cloud nine with the first haircut I have been impressed with in ten years. This incredibly talented professional has restored my faith in hairdressing.

I started going to Mark last year and now wouldn't go anywhere else. My daughter recommended him to me and he has completely re-styled my look with his expert cutting and colouring. I live in Norwich but always come to London to get my hair done by Mark.

Mark has been cutting and colouring my hair for ten years and in that time has taken me from a very dark brunette to full on blonde, which I love. He's a fab stylist who always seems to know what look works and when it's time for a change. I recently had a brazilian blow dry and the result is amazing. I can't recommend him highly enough!
