About St Luke's Church
St Luke's is a warm and friendly informal Anglican church in the heart of urban Bristol.
Regular Church services are every Sunday morning at 11am, with live music and organ played for communion, and a Sunday School for our younger visitors.
Every 1st Sunday of the month we have an "All Age Worship" starting at 9:30am in the Crypt beneath the church (at the opposite end to the church entrance and halls, with easy access from Avonvale Road). This relaxed service runs for about an hour with a drink and a bite to eat.
Everyone is always welcome!
Do stay after the service for a cuppa and a chat.
Our facilities for hire include two large halls, a lounge, a large kitchen and disabled loo, with a number of rooms in the Crypt (with its own recently revamped kitchen).
For information about Weddings, Baptisms, and other occasions our church secretary will be happy to help you.
We run a number of activities for the local area - do look at our website or Facebook for details:
"Coffee Pot" on Weds mornings from 9:30 to 11am at Café Conscious in Avonvale Road - and you can chat, gossip and put the world to rights!
Our "Quiz Nights" will hopefully be re-starting in the near future :-).
During the school holidays we have a "Lunch Club" for the children of Barton Hill and area.
Note - due to the spreading of Covid, our "Drop-In sessions" in the Crypt on Sunday and Wednesday are not taking place, and we are not running any "Trips" either.0 FreeIndex Reviews
