We think Emily at St George’s goes the extra mile. Without doubt she saved our cat’s life and went beyond the call of duty nursing him, day and night, even letting us see him briefly out of hours to help him pull through. He did and he is the best he’s ever been :-).

Took my 4 dogs to see Emily for titre testing - both Emily and the vet nurse were great with my dogs and Emily rang later that day to tell me the results and then sent certificates. Really nice to see a vet so forward thinking. Many Thanks.

Wonderful vet and nurse, most understanding about a small scared dog who was determined to be un-operative, they were kind and patient. A very open minded forward thinking vet, easy to talk to and understand. Helpful and welcoming staff.

Emily has been my vet for 11 years now. I have always gone to her at every practice she has been to. I was overjoyed when she decided to open up her own practice in Weybridge, and I have recommended many people to her. They too have been extremely happy with Emily and the care and dedication she gives. She often goes above and beyond the call of duty with my dogs and also for my family and friends pets. Emily is the loveliest & most compassionate vet I have ever had the pleasure to know. She also employs the best staff, they are always caring and supportive. I cannot ever imagine using a different veterinary practice. They are second to none.

Emily is The Best. In my experience, Emily does not push for expensive unnecessary treatment. I had a problem with one of my cats and the practice I was with at the time started throwing one expensive treatment after the next and wanted operate and keep the cat in for residential treatment, etc etc. Emily resolved this with the bare minimum treatment. Another advantage is that you are not seeing a different vet every time you visit, who relies on computer notes to tell them who you are and what the trouble is. This depends on how articulate the previous vet was and how the vet reading the notes interprets the information. Its terrible when you are part of a conveyor belt at a time when you are usually distressed and vulnerable. My cats and I have lived all over the world and have used many different vets, and I wish I was taking Emily with me to the next stop. We will miss you Emily.

Review of St George's Veterinary Centre from 18 February 2011 5 I could not recommend Emily Thomson and her team more, their compassion and level of care is outstanding. I have a large breed dog, with a severe spinal defect, Emily has gone out of her way to control my dogs condition to a point where he has a normal comfortable life, without having to turn to the operating table. The practice has a great friendly atmosphere. Emily and her team set a precedent that is hard to beat.
