Splendid Gentlemen

We were delighted to have Splendid Gentlemen play at our wedding in November. They were really quick to respond to us when we contacted them before the day, and promised to make the music personal to us. They definitely fulfilled that promise! The music was incredible, suited perfectly to our tastes, and everyone was on the dance floor all night. Some guests were concerned that there may be such a thing as 'too many bangers'! The quality of the band is the first thing anyone mentions about our wedding, they were excellent from start to finish. Thank you!

We had Splendid Gentlemen as our wedding band in November and they made our reception so special! Their cover of our first dance song was unbelievable and really made it one of the highlights of the whole day. The band played exactly what we had asked for when we spoke with Dee before the day. They played a variety of different songs throughout the night to suit everyone, even welcoming requests from the dancefloor! We were so lucky to have the Splendid Gentlemen play at our wedding at the end of October and I honestly cannot recommend them highly enough! As soon as they mentioned that they had Limp Bizkit on their list, we knew they were the band for us! They are unreal musicians and they played so brilliantly the full night! All of the guests commented on how amazing they were and they definitely kept the party going with all the great tunes they played. We had Splendid Gentlemen play at our wedding at Drumtochty Castle on 23/10/2024. They were absolutely brilliant and just got the vibe of us as well as that of all our guests. Even before the wedding communication was very easy and the guys are super friendly and approachable. We’ve had loads of comments from our guests about how good Splendid Gentlemen were and they kept the dance floor full all night - and also did a few ceilidh numbers for us. If you’re thinking about booking them, just do it as you won’t regret it!

The best wedding band around! We booked Splendid Gentlemen to play our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made. The band were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. All our guest loved the show and were complimenting of them the whole night. Dee made the operation smooth with great communication prior to the event. They learnt our requested first dance song and nailed it. They also took requests throughout the night which led to a packed dance floor. Highly recommend!

Splendid Gentleman played at our wedding on 7th September. We searched for many bands but we were so glad we chose Splendid Gentleman. They were brilliant! The Splendid Gentlemen played at our wedding at The Gleddoch on 4th of August and we could not recommend them enough! Dee and the band were so professional, they learned our first dance song which was perfect and played all of our favourite punk/pop rock music. The dance floor was full all evening and so many guests commented on how amazing the band were. Dee reached out well in advance to introduce himself and took the time to walk us through everything we needed to know about the setup on the day. His communication was clear, friendly, and reassuring, which really helped ease any pre-wedding jitters we had. On the day of the wedding, the band was punctual, organised, and fully prepared. But what truly set them apart was how accommodating they were. We had a special request for our first dance, and not only did they agree to learn the song, but they also performed it perfectly. As for their performance—wow. The energy and talent they brought to the stage were second to none. They kept the dance floor packed all night long, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about them. We cannot say enough nice things about the Splendid Gentlemen. Their performance at our wedding reception was truly the icing on the cake of such a spectacular day! The guests were absolutely thrilled with the music, and there was nonstop dancing until the very end of the night. They were great at reading the crowd and choosing songs that kept the energy going, and they even took requests. The Splendid Gentlemen are friendly, professional, fun, and incredibly talented. Splendid Gentlemen played our wedding at The Gailes in June 2024 and everyone was blown away! We were so happy they could learn our first dance song and they were able to start it off slow which was great! Everyone was up dancing from the end of the first dance and the partying did not stop! Splendid Gentlemen played for us at old manor Lundin links June 21st. Beautiful day, enjoyed by all friends. From the very 1st song -Barry whites - your my 1st , my last, my everything right through to the end of the DJ set with Runrig. (classic closing song). They had the floor bouncing, every single person there was raving about the tremendous band. Even had a wee Ceilidh in between which gave good entertainment. Dee was very easy to contact from the start and learned that fantastic song for us, absolutely nailed it. If you are looking for a band, look no further than these guys, we just hope they are playing at the next wedding we attend. Class guys and thank you so much again.

Dee and the guys played our wedding at Broxmouth Courtyard on the 11th of May, we had some day for it! After thanking all of our guests over the past few days they all had the same consistent message - the band was UNREAL. Me and my wife absolutely loved the set and so did all our guests. We had the Splendid Gentlemen play at our evening reception at Cornhill Castle and they did not disappoint! All our guests and myself were raving about them throughout the night and after. They read the room perfectly with their extensive repertoire and mix of songs in their own style and were happy to take on requests. Splendid Gentlemen played at our wedding on 30. 03. 2024 at Auchen Castle, their 4th gig in a 5 day in a row run and dispite that they did not disappoint! They created great energetic atmosphere and had our guests dancing all night and did not hesitate to take requests! All of our guests have been raving about them. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding band, particularly those looking for someone who can accomodate the classics and also something a bit different. We had Splendid Gentlemen play at our wedding just last night and I couldn’t recommend them enough. They were so accommodating with our first dance and father/daughter dance songs snd timings and kept the crowd going all night. Ceilidh set was great and so much fun and requests were no problem at all. We had said we were indie/rock fans but also that we wanted crowd pleasers too and every song that came on suited us perfectly - the guys are great at reading a crowd and playing what they think will suit. Splendid Gentlemen took our guests on a rip-roaring musical tour through classic rock and roll, modern alt rock, and iconic sing-alongs - all whilst maintaining levels of energy, style, and connection with their audience that should not be possible by mortal men. They're also just lovely blokes. The Gentlemen were super duper organised in the planning stage and asked all the kind of questions that really showed they care about their clients experience on the night. We had splendid gentleman play at our wedding reception recently, they were absolutely fantastic and everything we hoped for in a wedding band. Timely replies to our emails in the lead up and nothing was a bother. They learned the song we had requested and did a fabulous job with it. They played a wonderful set with such a variety of music genres and were so happy to take on our guests requests too! I did not leave the dance floor for most of the night and all the guests said the smile did not leave my face! Lots of good feedback from our guests saying they loved our band!
