5 Star is not enough to rate the wonderful and professional service we received from Steve Walker and Special Days Photography on the occasion of our daughter's wedding in May. Included in his package was a leisurely pre-wedding shoot, considerable time then spent with us to draw up a smooth running programme of the shots/people/groups etc. To be taken throughout the wedding day, together with many useful tips for the ushers to assist in organising the wedding party, thus saving time and ensuring the right people were in the right place at the right time. Steve also attended the Church rehearsal visit and then covered the whole wedding day tirelessly and discreetly from morning to night, including all those personal candid shots taken in the home whilst getting ready. We have also received a video montage set to music which is over an hour long, again covering the entire day. The results were amazing and we have no idea how we will make a choice from so many shots, but we have a beautiful and extremely high quality record of our daughter's special day and cannot thank Steve and his assistant Alex enough.

Steve was the photographer for our wedding in Sept 2013. Steve was aware that we were not used to having our photographs taken and we were both quite anxious about the whole experience. Steve ran a trial "photo shoot" which gave us a chance to pose and get used to being in front of the camera in a relaxed way, and to rehearse some possible poses that we might use on the day. This shoot gave us an opportunity to see what worked best for us, to plan how we could make the most of the location and to put us at our ease in readiness for the big day. Steve discussed the day with us, and what we wanted from it in regard to photographs and he also got us to prepare a list of shots we would ideally like him to take. In our case this included getting shots of certain groups of key friends and family when they were all together. Steve produced a series of beautiful individual and group portraits of our day, an opportunity rarely available under normal circumstances. The resulting gallery of shots formed a unique record of the story of our day, from the arrival and gathering of friends and family, through to the arrival of the Bridal party, on into the ceremony itself and then afterwards the drinks reception and the receiving line into the wedding breakfast, the cake cutting and key speeches. Steve used a variety of photographic styles and cameras to capture with skill and feeling, images of the most intimate moments of the ceremony. Steve produced a beautiful photo slide montage set to music, which is a joy to watch and has has provided us with an permanent reminder of what was, the happiest day of our lives. We have no hesitation in recommending Steve Walker of Special Days Photography - North West as a photographer to anyone wanting to get first class photographs of a key event of any kind.
