I commissioned Nigel to produce a series of illustrations for an educational project and the end result surpassed my wildest expectations! Having returned to my native North East after a successful career as a creative at the highest level in the advertising industry in London, I first met Nigel Spaven some 20 years ago. I was struck by his cartoon advertisement in the Yellow Pages - now Yell. I have used Nigel ever since for all my graphic art. He is a ‘natural’. As well as being a talented and excellent illustrator and cartoonist, he is also a great concept man. He accurately interprets and enhances on screen what’s in my head bringing it vibrantly to life. Nigel Spaven has the patience of a saint and is a joy to work with. I have no hesitation in recommending him.
