SPACE by Jane

This is the 2nd time that Jane's help has been invaluable. This time prior to having two rooms knocked into one, we needed to empty both rooms of literally everything. What we expected to be a major job turned out to be much easier than expected with Jane's help. Importantly, STUFF, which we've had for ever, has finally gone to the Charity Shops or re-cycling. It sometimes just takes another viewpoint to help a decision to be made.

Decluttering with Jane has been one of the highlights of my year. As a working mum, with years of my own clutter as well as all the incoming, I was overwhelmed with where to start on tackling the mess, paring down and getting organised. I never thought decluttering could be this much fun, and that is thanks to Jane’s infectious pleasure at having a task like this to take on, her humour, lack of judgement, help with decision making, can-do attitude, practical tips, and great ideas. She is fun to be around! Now I love the space and things that I have. Jane’s brilliantly creative, practical and pleasing thoughts for storing and organising items of every category - from big to small, from the mundane to priceless mementos - has been a real joy and revelation. And I don’t miss any of the car-loads of clobber that has gone on to better homes. This was a task I might have put off forever, and I’m thrilled to have it sorted. My daughter and family were recently having an extension to their house built and they were wanting to move in with me for a few weeks. Although I had plenty of rooms in my house, I tended to use them to store all the value possessions that I might need in future. There was little room for accommodating visitors. Jane offerd her services and, although I was a little sceptic at the start, I found that her services were worthwhile. She encouraged me to get rid of all the things that I might need but could never find when required and to focus on making the rooms pleasant accommodation for my daughter and grandchildren. And it worked!

Jane came and helped my fiance and me when we were moving house - she spent hours clearing out rubbish that the previous owner had left and then cleaned the house so that we were able to move our things in without any hassle. Jane then also helped us to unpack. She really made the move so easy, without her we would have been lost!

Nothing could be found easily in the shed or garage. I knew I needed to sort it out and declutter. I kept putting it off and making excuses. I felt it would take two days. It seemed like I'd never get around to it. Jane offered her services. We arranged a day and start time, spent 6hrs and the job was done. Lots of rubbish to the tip or recycled. A tidy shed and garage with everything sorted and in its place. Now I can find things!Without Jane's help and input, I may never have even started.Moreexpand_more
