Somerglaze Windows Ltd

We've just had a few windows replaced by Somerglaze Windows. We were very impressed with Gary's attention to detail and the care he took was exemplary. He worked very diligently and tidily. He clearly knows and understands his craft which he is clearly also very passionate about. We plan to have more windows replaced at a later date and we will definitely be asking Gary back to undertake this work.

We've recently had our wooden sash windows replaced with uPVC sash windows by Gary and Somerglaze Windows Ltd. We live on a busy A road and chose the acoustic windows to help reduce the noise from the road - they really do work and were worth paying the little extra for. Needless to say, we're absolutely delighted with the windows - my husband can be quite critical but he was really impressed with the workmanship and quality. The whole process, from the initial inquiry to the completion was really professional, Gary is really knowledgeable in his field, his prices are extremely competitive and the installation was really efficient, they were extremely tidy and respectful. We can't fault them.

The old Victorian sash windows at the front of our house were in desperate need of replacement but we wanted to maintain the overall aesthetic of the property and after a lot of deliberation, we opted for uPVC sash replacements. Gary was very knowledgeable and let us view samples and even his own property to confirm we were happy with the colour choice (Agate Grey). We also changed the quote several times to add some doors as well. The windows were slightly delayed due to availability of raw materials due to Covid-19. Gary and Tristan worked hard over four days to complete the install and we are very pleased with the overall outcome. The house is warmer, with far less condensation and road noise. We would recommend and plan on replacing the remainder of the windows once we have saved up for them!

Somerglaze were recommended to me and I am delighted with the results. I had patio doors replaced along with 7 windows and opted for noise reducing glass as I live on a road. I also had my wooden cladding replaced. I found Gary and his partner to be hard working ,efficient, non intrusive and very tidy workers. A job well done.

Fantastic to deal with from start to finish. Gary new exactly what we needed for our glazing in our apartment and the fitters mark and Steve were superb ! Can’t rate this team highly enough.

Replaced 10 windows throughout the house.

Gary and Steve replaced 14 windows for our house in Yatton. I could not recommend them enough, everything was done in a professional manner. Additionally, after installation we sat down and he went over everything after care, what to look out for and the bill. I will be using Somerglaze again and recommending his services to everyone who will listen.

They arrived on time, carried out the work at our requested times to fit in with our business needs and removed the rubbish afterwards. Gary, togehter with Steve did a fantastic job, replacing all of our windows and fitting some bi-fold doors. Superb job, professional from start to finish, I would thoroughly recomend to anybody. In fact this is the second time Gary has done outstanding work for us.

We have recently had two extension doors fitted and are really happy with the way the job was carried out from original quotation to completion. There was no messing around or fuss and Gary did everything that he said would do on time. Would highly recommend and would use again. Even cleaned up and took away old doors and materials.

Both Gary and Steve worked extremely hard and were very professional, a delight to have on the premises. They were very flexible when it came to working around other trades and doing things in a slightly different way to give us what we requested. The total project took only 8 days to install 38 windows and 2 doors in upvc.

19 units Windows, doors and patio doors replaced with Georgian bars which look great and have transformed the look of the house. The installation was quick and without any dramer. The service was excellent and I'd highly recommend to anyone!

We have had windows and a front door installed by Somerglaze before and I will in the future use them again (we have a big house with lots of winnows to replace). This time around it was for one large window, with a different sort of opening. I am very pleased with the end product, however what I like most is the gentlemen who fits them, Gary. He's honest, is straight talking, reliable, on time, tidy and professional.

Every fitting came according to specifications - (the right colour with the right window). Although Gary and Steve worked very long days this meant that they completed the work quicker.
