Established since 1944 and was originally the Solihull Home Guard Rifle Club. It has been located on the current site since 1952 and is currently taking on new members and upgrading the facilities. It is a firearms club and shoots. 22 calibre ammunition on an indoor rage. The outdoor range is for air weapon use only - this is proving very popular with more than half the current members using it 4 days a week. There are a limited amount of locations that cater for air weapon in the area and the club is looking to further develop the facility.

The club offers a variety of shooting experiences to individuals, which are designed to be cost effective for members. With indoor and outdoor facilities, the club also has friendly volunteers helping members to enjoy shooting in a safe and secure manner.

Solihull Rifle and Pistol Club has over a hundred members, from the local area, including Birmingham University Students who have adopted the club as their shooting venue.

The club operates indoor and outdoor shooting ranges, including floodlite facilities are available in the evenings. The opening times are all year round.

The club is managed by a committee who has been involved in the Shooting Sports for many years. The committee is experienced enough to run the club, it is made up of 12 experienced members who all bring valuable experience in managing the club.

With the help of friendly volunteers, Solihull Rifle and Pistol Club has many, qualified range conducting officers.

Solihull Rifle and Pistol Club is a member of National Small Bore Rifle Association.
