Smart Plastering

David was recommended by decorator as he had done work previously after him and said he knew would be good job. Delighted with result, great workers, very helpful, tidy and respectful. Call and attend when they say they will, also keep you updated throughout day if required. Would heartily recommend them, both bedrooms in old house look like new now.

We were passed David’s number by a builder friend of ours who has been using David for years on a variety of projects. He was very up front with us about the amount of work required, timescales and costs. We had previously had issues with plastering work in our old house and hence we wanted to be sure the work quality and service were worth the cost. What David did was above and beyond what was expected. The attention to detail, the quality of work and customer service was first class. He managed to spot little blemishes on our walls that we did not know we had. We had a new door put in, walls removed and ceilings damaged and it is like a new house now. Our builder even said “It’s the best plaster work we have seen for a while”. Every single tradesman on this job has caused us an issue with the exception of David. We were recommended to use smart plastering for work on our kitchen and I’m so glad we did! I can’t recommend highly enough. David is professional and knowleable, he talked through what he would do to give us the best results. We had a wall knocked down, a door bricked up and a kitchen fitted so this required extensive plastering including some tricky parts where joins were visible. David arrived with his colleague at the time promised, he worked carefully and with no mess. The finished result was impeccable, there was not a blemish on our walls/ceiling.

I had some recurring cracks and loose plaster on a bedroom wall in my old tenement flat and had made apoor attempt to fix it myself. David did a great job of repairing it properly and blended it well into the existing wall. Very reasonable price and kept to it when the work turned out to be more involved than originally thought. A pleasure to do business with!

We decided to go with David after getting three people round to assess the job. All three quotes were similar which indicated that David's price was definetely reasonable (good news for us as David came off well from the outset). We were certainly not disappointed! David and his assistant arrived promptly, cracking on straight away until the task was complete. It was a 'long day job'. At 7. 20pm or so (when to me the walls looked absolutely perfect), David was still making slight trowelling adjustments to barely noticeable imperfections that only he could see. He really seemed to take pride in his job like a true craftsman should. They then had a thorough clean up and left the room tidy at the end. I undertook a large renovation project of which David and his men done the plastering aspect. I have recently just had the place painted and the finish is absolutely great. A tricky job done wonderfully well in all aspects - very pleased customer.

5 star service. Contacted David for a quote for re plastering two rooms and he came out to quote the very next day which was great. Very reasonable and competitive price which included stripping wallpaper (including ghastly stubborn ceiling wallpaper), removing and replacing coving and plastering two rooms. Turned up on time and when he said he would; always friendly, courteous and very tidy. Would highly recommend and will definitely be contacting David for all future jobs.

David has finished my kitchen walls to a very high standard. He's been helpful, very reasonably priced and the room was cleaned well after the job was complete. Would highly recommend and will have David out to do more work at my property in future!

David Carrie out the planting for our new kitchen and we were blown away by the care and precision of his work. He took great care in ensuring that the finish was to our liking. The materials use ensured that the project was not held up because of this element of the work. David was called to our house on three occasions and each time he arrive when he said he would, the job took the time he estimated and he left things clean and tidy. I would recommend him to my friend and certainly use him in my own home for our next plastering job!

I have used D N Plastering's services on 3 occasions now, including wall and ceiling plastering of living room and bedrooms. The work was excellent and you would hardly have known that there were workmen in the house - they were quiet, hard working, skilled and very importantly, clean. They are also trustworthy, as there have been times when I've asked for advice on doing work and I have received honest views, even where it meant them losing out on work. These are all the reasons that I will definitely be using D N Plastering again in the future.

Hi all, I had david out to plaster my kitchen, the walls were terrible where tiles had left huge holes etc, couldn't believe the finish , was going to re-tile , but painted instead, I got david back in for a whole living room, again he's made an excellent job of it, I would reccomend to anyone needing work done, polite hard working guy, and reasonably priced.
