Slav and his team have done a few jobs on my house and I can’t thank them enough. Quality is second to none. After a very stressful renovation ( kitchen and bathroom) Slav made all the walls and ceiling new and left everything clean. Will use again.

Slav is a great plasterer. I got his number off this site after so many good reviews. We arranged an initial appointment which he arrived on time for. He was very helpful advising me on the options. In the end we decided that it would be best to replaster the hall, stair and landing. Slav was punctuatual, courteous, hardworking as well as tidy every day. I can't recommend him enough, you will not be disappointed in his work. Another plus is how competitive his prices are and that is always good.

Slav worked extremely hard to plaster and paint our hall and doors. He was professional, thorough and did an excellent job. He also tidied as he went, which was great. He is good value for money and very friendly. I would highly recommend him! Thank you Slav!

Slav skimmed our lounge ceiling and we were so impressed by both him and his quality of work that we asked him to remove some 1960's panelling from the wall and replace with plasterboard and redecorate the room, which he did speedily to a high standard. Slav is a really nice guy and his work is first class. He always turns up at the agreed time and goes beyond what's asked of him to produce a perfect finish. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Very trustworthy, honest and reliable…what more can you ask for!

We found Slav through Gumtree and had him quote for decorating our hallway/staircase and downstairs lounge. He offered a very competitive price and was able to fit us in as we were a little pressed for time due to carpet being fitted. He worked really hard, cleaned up after him, and was friendly and reliable all the time. Most importantly though, we are very happy with the result.

I had read the previous reviews of Slav's work and brought him in to prepare and re-plaster walls in our living room and repair a hole in our dining room ceiling. Painted lining paper and silk paint had to be removed first and the preparation work carried out was the most comprehensive I have ever seen. As well as carrying out excellent plastering, Slav straightened out wonky corners, always cleaned up and basically cracked on with the job plus charged a very fair price. I would not hesitate to have him back or recommend him - he's quite frankly the best contractor we've ever used.

Had to get my kitchen replastered. Slav provided a clear quote and made sure communication was kept up. Which I quite unusual for tradesmen. Work was done to good standard. I will use him again to get my bedrooms done.

Slav scraped painted woodchip from ceilings, then plastered vestabul, hall,2 double bedrooms living room ceiling and walls , what a job highly delighted. Clean and tidy. And I would highly recommend slav thanks slav.

Finding good tradesmen is like looking for a needle in a haystack, after being thoroughly disappointed with previous tradesmen, even though I found one on Rated People, I was very lucky to find Slav who not only is a very good worker, he gets on with the job with hardly time for a drink, he is quick, clean, an excellent plasterer and painter and a really nice guy. He not only made a beautiful job of the living room and dining area, walls and ceiling, transforming it completely, he also made good the previous plasterer's work of the hall, stairs and landing. I can honestly say, if I need any more plastering or painting done, he's the only one I'd call. I wholeheartedly recommend him.

Slav was recommended to me by a friend, so I phoned and he came out very quickly (and on time! ) to measure up. He told me all of the work that would need to be done (stripping wallpaper, sanding, plastering and painting of ceilings) and how long it would take. Slav turned up when he said he would and worked hard (and without proper breaks) every day he was with me. He has a good attention to detail and protected the parts of the room that were not being decorated by covering everything meticulously. He also cleaned up so extensively afterwards I think the carpets are in a better condition now than before the work began. Even although the work took slightly longer than expected (due to the wallpaper being 4 layers deep inc. Woodchip! ) Slav did not ask for any more money and made extra trips to my house at my convenience, I really cannot fault his professionalism. My only criticism of Slav is that he should take a few proper breaks! Thank you so much for a brilliant job, I will not hesitate to call you again in future. Box bedroom had plasterboard skimmed and damaged old plasterwork repaired prior to being redecorated with lining paper and painting. Old tenement flat so required quite a bit of preparatory work with sanding of woodwork and uneven walls besides repair work. Completed to a high standard, very satisfied with the result. Would recommend to others.

Slav was decorating living room, hallway and stairway in our house. I could not believe the transformation and feel of the newly renovated spaces. High standard of the finish and reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Slawek Mikoda has done a fantastic job in our house. We didn't expect such a great results. He has done plastering of hallway and stairway. The walls and ceiling are so good they don't look like they are a part of our old house. Slawek was always on time and he have done everything as requested and even more. I'm very pleased and happy about Slav's work. He gave me the best quote and left immaculate - hoovered up afterwards and the left the work area clean and tidy. Plastering of the walls and ceiling to the corridor and one bedroom was carried out to a high standard and completed in agreed time although it involved working late into the evening. He also plastered my living room three years ago. He is the only one I would allow working on my walls. I also recommended him to my friends and family.
