I drilled through a power cable. My insurance sent an emergency electrician to make it safe. The following day, a Saturday, I phoned the first 5 electricians that I found on google. Only Skelton answered. They came round at 6pm a couple of days later, looked at the problem and said they could fix it there and then. 90 minutes later it was done (only the re-plastering was left to me. )What more can I say. Quick, efficient, polite and tidy.

Damian has been superb in all aspects of the work he carried out at our flat. Professional, courteous and polite throughout. Damian carried out a full rewire of our one bedroom flat for a good price and to an exceptionally high standard. The knowledge he has fills you with confidence and you know the work he does is in your best interests, with great planning, foresight and constructive suggestions. We were flooded shortly after he started work on the flat, and he was round the property within an hour to ensure the electrics we safe. He even lent us his crow bar and helped start taking the flooring up to dry the flat out; a genuinely nice guy! Thank you for all your work, you've helped make our flat a home again.

Skelton Electrical were contracted to install Cat6 cabling around my house. I do this sort of stuff at work but have never got round to it at home: the job he did was at least as good as the job I might have done myself. Nothing was too much trouble: he accommodated unfortunate exterior access issues which interfered with his schedule by visiting for further works during other days. I am utterly delighted with his work and have no hesitation in recommending him.

Damian and his colleague did a great job for us as quoted and were also professional, respectful and polite. They also kindly took up the carpets which we were supposed to do beforehand but couldn't due to my husband having a shoulder injury that week. We would definitely recommend them.

Damian project managed the total refurbishment of my flat and did a brilliant job despite being let down by some tradesmen. Damian did a totally professional job for me at our home in Surrey. The job was a challenging one involving old outdoor circuits with a risk of water ingress but was solved brilliantly by Damian and his team. I'd also score them at 100% for communication, punctuality etc. I would strongly recommend them.

Skelton Electrical has looked after our business for the last year or so. From emergency needs to specific jobs which have needed doing as part of our expansion into new offices. The work of Skelton Electrical is first class, we get honest quotations, a reliable and on time service with a high level of support and aftercare. More recently one of our ceiling lights was smashed from it's hinges leaving a complete mess and more worryingly live wires hanging out! It happened at 19:30 one evening and by 21:15 Damian was on site, had it all fixed and we were back up and running, for our 24hr operation that's the service we needed, and we get it every time.

Came into repair garden lights which were done quickly and efficiently and also worked out why brick lights were not working properly, which two previous electricians have failed to do. Was able to come round at short notice and quickly found out the cause of the problem. Reasonable rates too!

Skelton electrical have just done a number of electrical additions to our Edwardian house which had 1960s electrics! They were value for money, highly skilled, professional, considerate, helpful, flexible, tidy and speedy. I heartily recommend using them.

Damian came out on the weekend before Christmas as all my ceiling lights had failed in my flat. He identified the problem (water leak) and gave me sound advice on the potential dangers and the importance of not reconnecting the circuit until the leak had been resolved He has since been back to reconnect the ciruit and to resolve a potentially dangerous problem with a light switch (which at least 2 other electricians had missed. Damien carried out a landords certification for electrical installations. He was very thorough in his examination of the works and produced a very detailed report which he took me through to help my understanding. I also asked him to carry out some work that arose from this report. This was completed to a high standard of finish and the site was left clean and tidy. His costs were realistic, he was punctual, and polite at all times.

When our electricity failed this evening we didn't know what to do, so I popped onto my phone and googled 'Brighton Emergency Electrician' - several were listed above Skelton Electrical but none of them could help us - they were either busy or (more commonly) just didn't answer their phones, despite being listed as a 24hour call out service. Skelton Electrical answered the phone promptly and talked me through what I needed to do in order to see what the problem was. Thanks to their expertise we not only got our electricity back on quickly and easily but also the advice we were given was simple and easy to follow. Skelton Electrical were professional, friendly and really fantastic at helping us when we didn't know what to do - we were really worried that we'd be spending a cold December Monday night with no heating, hot water or electricity, but thanks to their staff that didn't happen! I cannot recommend Skelton Electrical enough and will seek to use them again if we ever have any problems in the future.
