Scott previously decorated the communal stairwell in our apartment block and we were impressed with his work. As a result, we asked him to do some making-good and painting in our apartment. We were not disappointed. Same professional, high quality, work. Would not hesitate to recommend him.

Scott was able to sort out a mould problem for us at fairly short notice. Wallpaper all stripped back, wall treated with anti-mould product and then painted the following day. The quote was reasonable and the job well done. We will definitely contact Scott again for other works. Thanks.

Scott painted the communal hallway in our block of flats. He turned up on time, worked very efficiently and cleared up after himself when he left every day. I read a number of reviews before contacting SJM Decorating and was not disappointed when I did. I found Scott to be very responsive to my queries and liked his manner when we met to discuss the work. Scott decorated my brother's house from top to bottom…Everything was completed as requested. I couldn't have asked for more. John was really pleased and it looked like a brand new house. Walls and ceilings painted in white along with an extensive amount of woodwork - really nice finish. He also revarnished the doors. Everything was done to a professional standard and the house was left tidy and clean. The best thing I really like about Scott is his attitude towards customers. He replies to all emails and texts in a timely manner (unlike some of the larger decorating firms who treat you like a number and leave you dangling for a week before they reply). He is obviously an experienced decorator and put us in touch with a good carpet supplier/fitter and others to help with moving furniture. Scott did a brilliant job on our dining room. We are new to the house so the room needed stripping and a lot of filling and sanding. Looks like a new room now, very pleased. Scott arrived early and worked straight through, very tidy, polite and works hard. Will be using him again and recommending to friends.

Had Scott to paint walls and woodwork to hall stairs and landing. He started when he said he would and finished on time. Very easy to get on with and he explained everything to us beforehand. Would definitely have him again.
