AVOID AVOID AVOID! DONT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY UNTIL YOU READ THIS? I called simply prints as I needed business cards for the next day for an important meeting. I explained the situation and the urgency. I stated I wanted the highest quality cards. I sent my previous card and said to copy that and add 4 words. Simple right? Not at all for simply prints they stated they couldn't design the card and they would just leave it black and cannot add anything. TAM AND BIPIN said they are not designers? Which is surprising this shows they will not go the extra mile for their customers. The made a mistake and didn't add capital letters and when I noticed on the email they said they have already starting printing and said I would need to pay again after paying £111 to simply prints I payed again as I needed the cards for the next day. I payed an EXTRA £25 for same delivery so now I have payed over £200 for business cards. When they arrived I put them in my bag for tomorrow only to find out they have wrote my phone number wrong on the card! I didnt actually notice until I had given my card at the event to potential clients! They contacted me and told me I only have 10 numbers on my card! All they had to do was copy the number from the other card I had sent! How embarrassing! I tried to contact the company on social media and calls but had not luck yet! Response : Hi Dan,Thank you for your review. I would like to clarify exactly what happened as this isn't entirely correct. You contacted us to place an order and emailed us a photo of a previous business card and your new logo. You did ask us to add some words (which were copied exactly how you emailed them). We explained to you that we can create a simple business card (which we believed would look more elegant as your previous one was more cluttered due to the buildings you had in the backdrop) and would email you a proof to check. You confirmed you were happy with this. We also defined a payment deadline (which you missed by 30mins). Nevertheless, we were confident we could produce your business cards on time.The designers recreated your design and added the detail (this is done manually). We then emailed you a proof to carefully check. We do stipulate that the proof must be carefully checked and we are happy to make any corrections required. You replied back approving the proof.You then called after we had printed the order and were about to trim it to say you spotted that the letters must be capitalised and told us that you had missed this when checking the proof. However, the entire responsibility should fall on us. However, we disagreed as many customers want the proof to show what they send (including capitalisation) and the reason for the proof is for customers to confirm everything is correct before they give us the go ahead to print. You also indicated that we shouldn't be charging you extra to redo the proof and reprint (even though we had incurred a cost to print the job). As goodwill, we gave you the option to cancel for a refund or you can pay a little extra to cover the cost of the work we had already done (you indicated you still wanted the business cards we hadn't trimmed sent to you regardless and these should be trimmed to size).You then paid the extra and we made the correction and emailed you a new proof. I am appalled at the attitude of the members of staff who threatened to cancel my order when I was desperate to have my business cards done quickly. The member of staff asked me to approve a design however if I wasn't happy with it she was going to cancel my order (! ? ! ). They said they wanted a yes or no answer whether I was happy - but when I said that I wanted to change just one thing they said they were going to cancel the order. They mislead me as to when it would be ready which cost me one courier charge. They then directly advised the courier to come back at 6. 30pm when he arrived they denied that they had told him that. It cost me £33. 00 before the cards even left. Be careful this as it seems theirs were the only right answers. If you don't say what they want to hear they may threaten to cancel your order! Bizarre! They advertise as a same day quick service but they clearly wanted to go home and were just unwilling to make the minor changes. (simply centralise the bottom line) Throughout over this short period of time only one set of only changes were made before they threatened to cancel. Unreal. I have worked in the TV design industry for 20 years and I have never encountered such obtuse behaviour. Customer service ABSOLUTELY NONE. POWER HUNGRY absolutely! I don't like to be too harsh but the attitude of the staff were unhelpful and really unnecessarily uptight and officious. I sincerely hope they were just having a bad day, but to be honest I don't think I will risk another encounter!Moreexpand_more
Response : Hi Tayyaba,Firstly I would like to apologies for any misunderstanding and outline the history of this order. Your order came in just before close of business and we informed you that we can accept the order if it was a simple order and that you needed to collect it the same evening as you needed to use them 8. 30am the next morning. You then emailed us a photograph of the style you wanted and a photo of your card with parts amended. We then informed you that we will let you know once the order was ready so that you can collect the order. However, you had organised courier to come twice before the proof had been approved. We never advised your courier to return at a later time as they were your courier. In terms of the changes, the first change was based on the template you sent but you weren't happy with it. We then made a second change, which you rejected. We then informed you that the 3rd change was the final change as the designer was finishing (he had already worked over an hour passed the time we closedand had to attend to his children). You confirmed this was fine and received the 3rd proof. At this stage, you wanted to make further changes. However, without a designer this was impossible.This is the reason why we could only give you an option to proceed with the order or cancel for a full refund.Please bare in mind that our official closing time was 6pm and we had 3 members of staff stay behind after we had shut (2 members stayed 2 hours past the closing time to make sureyou order was fulfilled).
