We have worked with Paul for a few years now, and his service is exemplary, as well as his prices and product range. He is thinking of closing down- it would be a great shame for our industry to lose such a valuable supplier as this (the only viable alternative is to import form the USA - a nightmare! ). We purchased some tall louvre doors from Simply shutters. We were a bit apprehensive using an internet supplier unknown to us. We needn't had been. The service from Paul was second to none, very knowledgeable, very polite and very helpful. The shutters provided are excellent quality and look fantastic unlike others I looked at at local merchants. Highly recommended company.

DO NOT BE PUT Off Ordering from Northern Ireland as it went hassle free from ordering to arriving on my doorstep. I was looking for shutters to replace my wooden starting to rot, I could not find any and even kitchen shutters which worked in the past was a ridiculous prices. I seen simply shutters and thought they looked great with different designs and wood looks in all colours which was a bonus hassle free maintenance no more sanding and painting again as they are made of UPVC Polypropylene. I went and added to my basket and then came to paying which I hesitanted as it only allowed collection only, as I don't live on the mainland I thought another company which will not sent to Northern Ireland as the paperwork needed with EU bureaucracy that if they sent and paperwork wrong it be stuck at port and returned to supplier which is a cost to them so it's understandable why they do not offer postage. This is where this is where simply shutters showed why I think there head and shoulders above and other supplier I've ever dealt with. Paul from simply shutters explained to me in detail why and how to still get my shutters via them by booking a collection via courier and used a recommended courier by Paul. Next stage was I paid for product, the payment was on hold until they made and had them ready for collection which few weeks later seen payment was taken and a email sent with all the details weight and dimensions for me then to fill in for courier, paperwork was so simple basic filling. I booked for the next day collection and it was 11am, I phoned up and got a lovely lady called Tracey and explained short notice on courier collecting and said thats no problems and a really nice chat and email updates were A***** Arrived 2 days later and I was really impressed as they are much better then what I expected and no regrets in ordering. I ordered composite shutters from Simply Shutters and was really happy with how easy everything was from the start. The ordering process and delivery went smoothly, and the shutters looked sturdy and well made. There were a few problems with the finish when they first arrived, which was disappointing, but the company couldn’t have handled it better. They arranged collection straightaway, kept me updated, and were very open and honest about what had gone wrong. The shutters were properly sorted out and came back looking much better. The shutters will look great when fitted. Mistakes can happen, but it’s how a company deals with them that matters, and Simply Shutters showed real integrity and care. I’d definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone thinking about getting shutters.

WOW I’ve not experienced customer service like this before. When they received my order they emailed back to confirm the size to make sure I knew how the shutters would fit. They kept me up to date with everything, even when the product needed for the shutters was delayed meaning I had to wait. I wanted ones you could paint as I wasn’t sure of the colours. Without asking they send me samples so I could decide what to do, followed up by an email explaining it to me. I could now order with confidence. Even after I received the order they still checked if everything was ok. I can’t wait to fit the shutters and add photos to this review. They are stunning and well manufactured.

Simply Shutters are outstanding ! I wanted a size of door that was out of stock in all the major retailers and they had no stock coming in for months. Simply Shutters offered to make the correct size for me, the customer service and communication was excellent, the doors are very good quality at a good price and the delivery went smoothly.

I purchased an ‘almost perfect’ louvred door that has exceeded expectations in every way. Without the stickers showing the very slight scratches I doubt I would have noticed any damage at all. It was delivered quickly and carefully, and well packaged. And when I initially phoned thinking there was no stock of the size I needed, the lady I spoke with was so cheerful and helpful. An excellent experience all round, and I’d definitely use this company again.

We purchased a bespoke Bahama Shutter (External). The company was very supportive in guiding us through choosing the correct materials (best for purpose) and construction methods (for strength and durability). The raw shutter arrived on time and was painted and self installed. It is now the envy of our neighbours! Would recommend this company to anyone, good value, good technical support and good product quality.

Just purchased an internal louvre door, it arrived promptly and right on the scheduled time. The product quality is far superior to that from the major DIY outlets; communication was excellent to the extent that I emailed a small query and had the reply just after midnight the same day! …all round excellent service. Almost want to order another door just for the pleasure of dealing with these folks.

I ordered a custom made louvre door as the opening I had was not a standard size. Having ordered it I realised I was going to be away when it was to be delivered so I phoned Simply Shutters and apologised for my lack of thought. They couldn't have been more helpful. The delivery date was rearranged for my convenience. The joinery work to make the door smaller was top notch. Very professional. Delivery was prompt and the driver was very caring. I will recommend this company others.

After some research, I found Simply Shutters had the type and size of plantation shutters that I required. The staff were extremely helpful with sizes and delivery. The shutters were excellent quality, consistent sizes and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

These Carbrooke shutters were installed 8 years ago and have required no work of any kind since then. They are installed in a windy, salty coastal location. They are attached to a hanging tile wall. I gave the method used to SS for any customers who might be have this requirement. They will make them available if desired.

Superb Product. We ordered 8x Carbrooke Redwood shutters as replacements for previous units which were way beyond repair. Upon receipt the first impression was the exceptional, thoughtful packaging, Top quality craftsmanship in the woodwork with high standard in the finish. These units were then treated to 4x coats of Sikagard Wood Preserver (over the top I know) and 3x coats of Sadolin Superdec Satin, beautiful stuff to use. After hanging the shutters I think they look quite classy and we have had a few admiring comments from various neighbours. Wishing Paul and all the team at Simply Shutters all the Best for the future.

Great company. Recently bought some louvre doors for my boiler cupboard and was having issues with sizing. Emailed them and they were very helpful with sorting this. Highly recommend them, great products and great customer service.
