We are living in Southern Ireland and we recently redid our patio, so whilst the works were happening we took down shutters and we needed new pins to out them back up. Because of the nightmare of Brexit it is very difficult to get deliveries to Southern Ireland, but Simply Shutters were absolutely superb, one set they posted 'vanished off the face of the earth' so FREE OF CHARGE they resent another batch with a different delivery service and although we had to pay customs this side and wait two and a half weeks, the delivery arrived and our shutters are now back up, making our new patio job complete and lovely. I cannot praise their phone manner, their friendliness high enough. THANK YOU.

Reading all the positive reviews, I have to say that I was expecting more. I ordered four large interior louvre doors which had to be cut down as they were too large. I'm assuming - and I stand to be corrected here - that like most shutter suppliers, these doors are bought in from China and altered when necessary. Consequently there was a carpentry charge for altering the size, which is fair enough. The base price for each door was £73. The carpentry charge for EACH door was £66, which I felt was a bit steep. Each door finally ended up costing me approximately £150. I would have thought that for such a high carpentry charge, it would have been done properly but on one of the doors, I had to fill it extensively where the alteration had left large pits in the wood and one of the amended slats on another door was not put in straight. There were also a few gouges on the face of two of the doors which needed to be filled and a further tear in the wood on one where it had received a whack somewhere along the line. I have been able to fill these damaged areas myself and conceal the damage with paint but I'm not sure I would buy from this company again, nor recommend them.Moreexpand_more

What a wonderful experience working with Simply Shutters. From the staff, who were always so helpful, to the product, which is great quality, I am so happy with my purchase! The customer service was amazing - I had multiple questions, and they always had time to speak to me and were so very prompt in returning my calls. They worked hard to expedite my order due to a short time frame I was on. Not many companies go to this length to make each customer so happy. Will definitely be ordering from them again!

From my first phone call, I received excellent helpful service and advice, the shutters arrived within the delivery time stated. They have changed the appearance of the back of my terraced house, to make it look like a little cottage. I am thoroughly pleased.

We are delighted with our wooden shutters. Paul Millar telephoned me after I had placed my online order to discuss whether I really needed the extra fitting kit which I had ordered. As it turned out I didn't and Paul saved me £30 or so. Paul also spent a long time talking to me about my exact requirements and how to paint them to preserve their look as long as possible. Thank you Paul, as I said we are delighted with the shutters, they look great.

We bought external black decorative shutters for our cottage. The shutters were of a high quality, and really enhance the look of the building. We can really recommend Simply Shutters for their service and producing high quality products for a reasonable price. We would have no hesitation ordering again.

I cannot praise Simply Shutters enough. Having had our window shutters for about ten years, a small section came off and was unfortunately mistakenly recycled! I contacted Simply Shutters, not expecting anything to be possible after ten years, but not only have they replaced the missing part for me but this was carried out free of charge with the greatest of good cheer, smiles and excellent service. A huge thank you. Can highly recommend, after ten years the shutters still look like new.

Having tried to order louvre doors from a number of different companies in England (we live in Greece) and being extremely disappointed with the service, we finally came across Simply Shutters and quite simply, they have renewed our faith in online ordering! From contacting them on Monday 13th- when they answered the phone immediately, the (24) doors were packed and sent to the depot in UK on Tuesday 14th ready for being shipped to Greece. Paul at the company was incredibly helpful and informative, and spent a long time with us on the phone answering all our questions. He arranged for the doors to be packed very securely as they were being shipped overseas. The customer care/service from this company is exceptional, professional and very unusual these days. We are waiting now for the items to arrive and will update this review once they do - but am sure we will be as delighted with the product as we have been with the service. Cannot recommend this company highly enough to anyone wanting their products. UPDATE 28th. NovemberItems were despatched promptly by the company to the depot in UK and reached our home overseas yesterday. Paul told us the items had been especially well packed to avoid damage as they were being shipped overseas - what an understatement that was! The packaging was first rate- very thorough and meticulously done which ensured the items reached us in pristine condition. We were equally impressed and delighted with the doors - they are beautiful and exceeded all our expectations. We can certainly have them fitted without needing to do anything further to them. We are delighted to have found a company who have provided such a first rate service from start to finish and who have provided us with doors as excellent as described.
