I ordered composite shutters from Simply Shutters and was really happy with how easy everything was from the start. The ordering process and delivery went smoothly, and the shutters looked sturdy and well made. There were a few problems with the finish when they first arrived, which was disappointing, but the company couldn’t have handled it better. They arranged collection straightaway, kept me updated, and were very open and honest about what had gone wrong. The shutters were properly sorted out and came back looking much better. The shutters will look great when fitted. Mistakes can happen, but it’s how a company deals with them that matters, and Simply Shutters showed real integrity and care. I’d definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone thinking about getting shutters.

WOW I’ve not experienced customer service like this before. When they received my order they emailed back to confirm the size to make sure I knew how the shutters would fit. They kept me up to date with everything, even when the product needed for the shutters was delayed meaning I had to wait. I wanted ones you could paint as I wasn’t sure of the colours. Without asking they send me samples so I could decide what to do, followed up by an email explaining it to me. I could now order with confidence. Even after I received the order they still checked if everything was ok. I can’t wait to fit the shutters and add photos to this review. They are stunning and well manufactured.

Simply Shutters are outstanding ! I wanted a size of door that was out of stock in all the major retailers and they had no stock coming in for months. Simply Shutters offered to make the correct size for me, the customer service and communication was excellent, the doors are very good quality at a good price and the delivery went smoothly.

I purchased an ‘almost perfect’ louvred door that has exceeded expectations in every way. Without the stickers showing the very slight scratches I doubt I would have noticed any damage at all. It was delivered quickly and carefully, and well packaged. And when I initially phoned thinking there was no stock of the size I needed, the lady I spoke with was so cheerful and helpful. An excellent experience all round, and I’d definitely use this company again.

We purchased a bespoke Bahama Shutter (External). The company was very supportive in guiding us through choosing the correct materials (best for purpose) and construction methods (for strength and durability). The raw shutter arrived on time and was painted and self installed. It is now the envy of our neighbours! Would recommend this company to anyone, good value, good technical support and good product quality.

Just purchased an internal louvre door, it arrived promptly and right on the scheduled time. The product quality is far superior to that from the major DIY outlets; communication was excellent to the extent that I emailed a small query and had the reply just after midnight the same day! …all round excellent service. Almost want to order another door just for the pleasure of dealing with these folks.

I ordered a custom made louvre door as the opening I had was not a standard size. Having ordered it I realised I was going to be away when it was to be delivered so I phoned Simply Shutters and apologised for my lack of thought. They couldn't have been more helpful. The delivery date was rearranged for my convenience. The joinery work to make the door smaller was top notch. Very professional. Delivery was prompt and the driver was very caring. I will recommend this company others.

After some research, I found Simply Shutters had the type and size of plantation shutters that I required. The staff were extremely helpful with sizes and delivery. The shutters were excellent quality, consistent sizes and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

These Carbrooke shutters were installed 8 years ago and have required no work of any kind since then. They are installed in a windy, salty coastal location. They are attached to a hanging tile wall. I gave the method used to SS for any customers who might be have this requirement. They will make them available if desired.

Superb Product. We ordered 8x Carbrooke Redwood shutters as replacements for previous units which were way beyond repair. Upon receipt the first impression was the exceptional, thoughtful packaging, Top quality craftsmanship in the woodwork with high standard in the finish. These units were then treated to 4x coats of Sikagard Wood Preserver (over the top I know) and 3x coats of Sadolin Superdec Satin, beautiful stuff to use. After hanging the shutters I think they look quite classy and we have had a few admiring comments from various neighbours. Wishing Paul and all the team at Simply Shutters all the Best for the future.

Great company. Recently bought some louvre doors for my boiler cupboard and was having issues with sizing. Emailed them and they were very helpful with sorting this. Highly recommend them, great products and great customer service.

What a brilliant service,2 days from when I put order in to my doors arriving at my house in Scotland and what a quality product that's good to hang and looks fantastic. I will definitely use this great company again.

We are living in Southern Ireland and we recently redid our patio, so whilst the works were happening we took down shutters and we needed new pins to out them back up. Because of the nightmare of Brexit it is very difficult to get deliveries to Southern Ireland, but Simply Shutters were absolutely superb, one set they posted 'vanished off the face of the earth' so FREE OF CHARGE they resent another batch with a different delivery service and although we had to pay customs this side and wait two and a half weeks, the delivery arrived and our shutters are now back up, making our new patio job complete and lovely. I cannot praise their phone manner, their friendliness high enough. THANK YOU.

Reading all the positive reviews, I have to say that I was expecting more. I ordered four large interior louvre doors which had to be cut down as they were too large. I'm assuming - and I stand to be corrected here - that like most shutter suppliers, these doors are bought in from China and altered when necessary. Consequently there was a carpentry charge for altering the size, which is fair enough. The base price for each door was £73. The carpentry charge for EACH door was £66, which I felt was a bit steep. Each door finally ended up costing me approximately £150. I would have thought that for such a high carpentry charge, it would have been done properly but on one of the doors, I had to fill it extensively where the alteration had left large pits in the wood and one of the amended slats on another door was not put in straight. There were also a few gouges on the face of two of the doors which needed to be filled and a further tear in the wood on one where it had received a whack somewhere along the line. I have been able to fill these damaged areas myself and conceal the damage with paint but I'm not sure I would buy from this company again, nor recommend them.Moreexpand_more

What a wonderful experience working with Simply Shutters. From the staff, who were always so helpful, to the product, which is great quality, I am so happy with my purchase! The customer service was amazing - I had multiple questions, and they always had time to speak to me and were so very prompt in returning my calls. They worked hard to expedite my order due to a short time frame I was on. Not many companies go to this length to make each customer so happy. Will definitely be ordering from them again!

From my first phone call, I received excellent helpful service and advice, the shutters arrived within the delivery time stated. They have changed the appearance of the back of my terraced house, to make it look like a little cottage. I am thoroughly pleased.
