About Simply Alpaca

SimplyAlpaca is a wife and husband enterprise started with three pregnant female alpacas in 2009. The farm is located in Worcestershire and is currently home to 41 alpacas and llamas. SimplyAlpaca offer a range of services from alpacas for weddings to camelid assisted therapy and fibre craft workshops.
Victoria Barrett, the driving force behind SimplyAlpaca, is passionate about the kind and respectful handling of alpacas and llamas. She also loves the luxurious fleece that they produce and loves nothing more than sharing the animals and their fibre with children and adults alike.
For that special event, SimplyAlpaca will deliver. Whether it is alpacas at your wedding to surprise and delight your bride to be, an Introduction to Alpacas Experience gift voucher for someone who dreams of owning one day or letting loose your creative streak in one of our Felting and Spinning Workshops, or just coming to chill out and enjoy the calm that the alpacas imbue, SimplyAlpaca has something for everyone.
And of course, there is all that lovely fleece which has been spun into beautiful yarns and woven into warm and cosy scarves, wraps and throws, plus much more in our on farm and online shop.

My niece did a camelid handling course with Simply Alpaca as part of her preparation for her veterinary studies and thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of caring for these animals. I also went on an alpaca walk with Simply Alpaca (plus a couple of llamas) and found the warm welcome, the depth of knowledge imparted throughout the walk made it not only a great form of exercise but tremendously interesting. Put it on your bucket list!

I have had my birthday party here and it was an amazing experience. I got to have a greet and activity with the lovely Alpacas and llamas. But most incredibly was seeing the baby’s, who was absolutely gorgeous. Baby Twiggy is just beautiful. Thank you Simply Alpaca.

Victoria and Roger are hugely experienced in alpacas and we have met them a couple times. Warm, friendly and happy to talk alpaca and share experiences. The shop is stocked with wonderful alpaca and gift products. Well worth a visit and highly recommended!

I attended a handling course at SimplyAlpaca two and a half years ago to decide whether alpacas were for me. Toria and Rog could not have been more friendly and welcoming and the course was very well presented and thoroughly enjoyable, employing a technique called CAMELIDynamics, giving me all the basic skills I needed to be able to handle alpacas with care, respect and consideration. Having decided that alpacas most definitely were for me, six months later, I procured a wonderful trio from SimplyAlpaca, who gave me lots of help, advice and after-sale support to ensure I got the most from my new wards. I have had my three boys for two years now and Toria and Rog continue to be there whenever needed, always happy to help and always smiling. I could not recommend them more highly!
