At Shire Design and Build Ltd. We love offering our clients a full design service whether it’s architectural or structural or our building services in new builds, extensions, structural steel, loft conversions, kitchens, bathrooms, renovations and garden studios to name a few. We can also offer a full council planning application submission from start to finish.

All trades supplied and certified as required.

We operate for residential but also for commercial customers, previously completed jobs include an ex MSP to the Scottish parliament in doonfoot, Ayr - Merc pharmaceuticals in Irvine - Grants foods of Galston.

With over 20 years experience our company can assist in all of your building projects. We cover Ayrshire and the central belt of Scotland with UK wide projects discussed on a job to job basis.

Our company is owned by myself Gregor Cowan who has worked in the building trade since the age of 16 as a joinery apprentice and growing into the company I’ve built myself.
