A good, friendly and welcoming club. My son has been training with the club for 4 years now. I can't thank the federation and instructors enough for what he has achieved as he has severe learning difficulties and I didn't think he would stick with it for even 6 months. However, he has grown in confidence in himself and socially, bettered his co-ordination and concentration skills and is a different person to who started 4 years back.
My little boy has been going to the club for nearly 2 years. He absolutely loves it. There is a very friendly and professional approach from the Sensei's and they have time for everyone. They are very mindful of people with health issues also, which makes it a very easy for anyone to train.
So I'm 2 sessions in and truly love wjj norwich. I cannot thank sensia Brett and sensia sam for making me feel so welcome and comfortable I highly recommend this club to anyone who wants to be part of the most amazing martial arts family 5 stars all round.
Sensei brett, sensei sam, sensei lori and sensei jim. I thank you all. Absolutely amazing club,. Great value. My daughter loves it,. She has become far more confident since joining,. Myself,. I suffer from major anxiety and depression. It absolutely controls my life but the wjjf has helped me overcome it. I feel confident and stronger as a person. I dont think these guys will ever understand how much they have helped and changed me. Thank you.
I cannot recommend this club enough! I have 20 years experience in martial arts and a black belt and brown belts in other styles and thought I was a seasoned martial artist - wrong! Jujitsu taught me that even at black belt level in other styles I knew nothing of self defence! I was a recent domestic violence survivor and took a class on a whim and sensei Brett and his team were so kind and considerate and built my confidence back up when I felt I would never feel safe again! I have cancer and the club fully supports me in every way possible to perform at my best and rest when needed, others there have physical disabilities one lovely lady is only just recently walking she learned Jujitsu sat on the floor at first, another man is in a wheelchair and they adapt the moves specifically for them! NO other club or style of martial arts would adapt a syllabus this way! The knowledge that Sensei Brett, Sami, Jim and Lori has is remarkable, true masters of this style and such great instructors even when you feel it is overwhelming to learn they break it down and show you countless times until you are confident! Not only is it good for strength and fitness, and for self defence but this is a family, and we welcome everyone to our family! You will never meet a kinder club, a more fun group of people, and a better style than this Having tried most martial arts over the years this is truly the one that will protect you if in trouble, and sensei Brett does not just teach you about how to hurt an attacker but how to avoid it and keep safe as well which is the true essence of martial arts and self defence! The kids class is also fantastic they have so much confidence, and with bullying being so high it is something I cannot recommend parents enough to do if they struggle with that, all of our little ones have exceptional confidence from very young ages!Come along and see us and start your journey to feeling safer and more confident! Thanks Sensei Brett from turning me into a scared little girl to feeling like a warrior!Moreexpand_more
I have 3 children that all attend these classes, aged 6,7, and 11. They all thoroughly enjoy their time there. They are worked hard with a good level of discipline, with fun and games thrown in too. Its the perfect balance for my children who have now graded to 2 orange belts and a yellow belt. They look forward to going each week and have a good relationship with the sensei and coaches. Having junior coaches at the club is a nice addition too. Thanks to everyone involved in the running of the club!
My husband and 5 year old and 6 year old children have been training between 2 years and 18 months now, the dojo is a lovely welcoming one, and the coaches and sensei's are knowledgeable and professional, with regular trips to hq to gain more knowledge and to keep up-to-date with changes that happen within the organisation.
When I first joined this club in 2016 I had a paralysed right leg and started in a wheelchair. The sensors adapted the syllabus just for me. Since all this I've had many health problems but it's not stopped me being part of the WJJF. I graded for my Green belt in 2020 and now working my way towards a blue and white belt. This club is friendly, welcoming and professional. We're all like family there they treat you as one, yes we all may have limitations but that doesn't matter we all work at our own levels. I can't do high kicks so we adapt them. I can stand for to long so I kneel. All these things is what helps me except my disability. Thank you to the whole of the WJJF and especially Sensei Brett, Jim, Sam, Lori and Robert for believing in me. Onwards and upwards.Moreexpand_more
My 6 year old has been going to this club for 2 years now and loves it! Great value for money, run by very friendly instructors and assistants, Not only keeping him fit and making new friends of different ages, it has given him more confidence, self discipline and taught him how to defend himself if needed. Like most martial arts you do pay insurance each year, but its great as you pay per session rather than having to pay upfront per month or term so don’t lose out if you have to miss a class! I’m looking forward to my daughter starting when shes old enough so they can both follow in my footsteps!
My son has been going to this club now for over 3 years and it has done wonders for his confidence and attitude. The club is a friendly safe environment run by Sensei Brett and his team who are all 100 per cent committed. Although discipline is high on the agenda, it is not run like a boot camp, help, advice, support and encouragement are always there when and if needed. Whether your a beginner or a high grade, everyone is treated equally, and encouraged to achieve their goal.
