Jenny very kindly altered my silk wedding dress, so it fits perfectly now. I’m so pleased with what she professionally did to it to make it fit so well. The photo shows some of the intricate work, from zip to tie up dress. I would recommend her to any friend, she is very Kind and willing to help you feel your best. All done in no time at all. Contacted SewandSew regarding a large project. I was kindly invited to meet and discuss what work was need. Everything was agreed, and both parties were totally happy. I informed I will be in touch in a few weeks. When I finally got in touch I was told they can no longer take on my project. At NO POINT was I made aware of the change. It wasn't until I called them I was told the change in circumstance. As a result, I now at a HUGE financial loss! I had turned down 3 other tailors as I felt I had found the correct tailor who could take on my work. Now when I contacted them to delivery the work I've been turned down. At at the 12th hour I now have to find a replacement. This was my first time trying SewandSew and I am totally and utterly destroyed by how I have been treated. We had a verbal contract. If circumstance had changed, I should have been contacted and informed of this IMMEDIATELY, rather then being ignored. SewandSew knew how IMPORTANT this was and the should have informed me ASAP when their circumstance had chanced so other arrangement could be made. Instead they chose to ignore me and let me hang around until I was ready to proceed. I would NOT recommend them at any cost! Totally can not be trusted.Moreexpand_more

I contacted Jenny to have the lining in my winter coat replaced. Jenny was friendly, helpful and even suggested a brighter lining which I love! She replaced the main lining, the pockets and even re-sewed a button on for me. The quality of her work is very high and I would absolutely recommend her.

Jenny adapted my corset top and skirt beautifully. Im recommending her to friends who are marrying late next year and hoping there is a slot in her crowded calender for them.

Jenny altered my wedding dress to fit perfectly. She showed great attention to detail, finding just the right buttons and knowing exactly how to shape the dress to make me look my best. Jenny has alterted many garments for me and they have been finished to a very high standard. I have been very grateful for her time, knowledge, and Ideas from start to actually finishing the work. I wasn't sure if I would be able to keep my cruise garments the way they were, however Jenny was able to alter them and they looked great when finished. I contacted Jenny very close to my wedding for a number of alterations for my lace detailed wedding dress. I was in a bit of a panic as the wedding dress shop I purchased my dress from took much longer for it to arrive than they told me. Jenny was fantastic and depsite it being quite last minute she was so accommodating. She was incredibly thorough, proffessional and made my wedding dress fit perfectly. After a number of alterations, you would never guess that my dress has had any alterations at all! Jenny was also so reasonable with her prices. I found this firm via the internet and read the reviews which swayed my decision, I contacted Jenny and she agreed to make a Cloak. I then contacted and asked if she could try and alter my wedding gown. Both my cloak and dress came out better than even my expectation (which was very high) and highly recommend Jenny and the services that she provides. Any more work I need and Jenny will be the first one I contact.

I used Sew and Sew 4u for a relatively short-notice alteration to my wedding dress. Jenny not only squeezed me in, but she also did a fabulous job. The work is pristine and her experience really shone through. I could not believe the price too. I can't offer enough praise for the overall service.

I read previous reviews before taking 2 wedding dresses to be made into 1. The service was excellent, such a professional and truly lovely lady. My wedding dress turned out amazing and the quality of workmanship was excellent at an astonishingly good price. I would certainly recommend to others.

I went to see Jenny in September 2012 to get my wedding dress altered. I didn't have long to get the alterations done but I panicked in the run up that I wasn't going to be able to breathe very well in my dress(! ) so wanted to get it taken out. Jenny managed a very quick turn around and steamed the dress as well, so I didn't need to worry about getting that done somewhere else. The alterations were very reasonably priced for the quality and the service and I would recommend her to anyone (I have sent several friends to her already).

I had to bring my wedding forward by eleven months and had to very quickly put together a dress. I also did not want something that was 'run of the mill'. When I contacted Jenny she could not do enough for me, she made sure the dress was altered and the material added to it just the way I wanted it to be. She also ensured she had the dress completed in record time so I had time to cordinate and not be quite as stressed as before. Her work is outstanding and I would recomend her to any one.

No hesitation in recommending Jenny, her sewing work is exceptional. She really got me out of a fix this week by completing some alterations on a dress I needed quickly for a wedding. I found her service on this web site, rang her Monday morning, saw her in the aftertoon and received my dress back on Tuesday morning (What a service). As soon as I contacted Jenny I was confident that she was going to do a great job on my wedding dress and she certainly delivered. I only had a short window to get the dress adjusted as another dressmaker had let me down, but she fitted me in and was able to offer me fitting appointments in the evenings and even on Sunday morning! The fitting process to do the pinning for the adjustments was fuss-free and I felt comfortable with the ideas that she suggested to make my dress fit perfectly. When I picked up the dress I couldn't believe the difference - it finally fitted me and I was able to look forwards to my big day with confidence. Jenny is obviously a very skilled seamstress who has a real eye for making just the right adjustments and her charge for the work was very reasonable. I would thoroughly recommend Jenny to anyone who has a wedding dress or a special outfit that needs any alterations. Thank you Jenny!
