I started seeing Sean about a year ago, with the aim of improving my overall fitness and strength. I'm 29 and work long hours in front of a computer each day, so having a session booked in with Sean each week is important for my health! Sean is very easy-going and fun, although he does push you hard to achieve the results you want. In the year I've been going, my fitness and strength have come on dramatically. I am currently training for a 1000 mile cycling trip from one end of the UK to the other this July. Sean has made it possible for me to be able to do this, whereas a year ago I would have struggled to cycle 5 miles! I cannot rate Sean highly enough, and have recommended him to my close friends.
I started with Sean just over three months ago with a view to losing weight, firming and toning muscles and generally getting fitter - and so far, so good. My fitness level has increased dramatically and whilst the workouts (twice a week) have been challenging at times, Sean is always encouraging and supportive. The other great benefit so far is that I've lost a steady pound a week - and I look forward to losing the next stone.
I have been a client for a number of years, and use personal training as a back-up for running, rowing and work-outs in a gym. Sean has high-level qualifications plus a lot of experience, is easy to get on with, has successfully sorted out any problems I have had and made sure I not only maintain but improve my level of fitness.
I've been seeing Sean for almost three years and would not hesitate to recommend him for anyone looking to get themselves in shape or improve their levels of fitness. He has tailored a very specific programme of exercise for me, taking into account a back injury, and I feel a lot stronger as a result, with far more confidence in my back. Sean's sessions are always testing but enjoyable because of the range of exercises he schedules, and the different muscle groups that are worked, and he seems to know exactly how hard he can push me. I have a history of back problems and tried using osteopath’s which wile they helped with the immediate pain did little to resolve my under lying back problem. I tried using gym’s but after an initial spurt I would then find excuses for not going. When I first meet with Saen he did a thorough assessment of my general lack of fitness and core stability, and then devised a series of exercises and core muscle strengthening which has had a profound improvement on my back problem. I have been having regular sessions with Sean for 4 years now and in that time I have not had to visit an osteopath or had a major back issue. Sean has also helped me lose weight by encouraging me to have a food diary and keeps me motivated to do my exercises and stretches at home.
I've been seeing Sean since 2009 in order to improve my general fitness levels and help control my weight (alongside home based exercise). He's great fun, knowledgeable and knew when to push me or when to back off. I have been going to see Sean for over 2 years now. Sean is brilliant at what he does. He works with you to find out what it is you want to achieve and helps you get there. I feel fitter and am more flexible than I ever thought possible. Sean has a great sense of humour and always makes the sessions fun, I often tell him he should be a stand up comedian! I can thoroughly recommend Sean to anyone who is looking to achieve their goal, with a knowledgeable and experienced trainer.
I first saw Sean several years ago to prepare for a fairly strenous trek but soon discovered that exercising under his supervision was far more time efficient and effective that on my own at the gym. He is very encouraging, can be quite firm but always charming and tailors each session to my requirements. He's helped me regain fitness and strength after injuries, and his workouts are the best therapy to keep me sane when feeling pressured at work! Sean is Brilliant! Brilliant! Brilliant! He has helped me to increase my strength and fitness where membership of a Gym could not. Sean always pays meticulous attention to detail, particularly how you are feeling at each session and adjusts your training to accommodate. Every session is different and Sean demonstrates how to complete each exercise to gain maximum benefit. I have been training with Sean for 4 years now and have found him to be an excellent personal trainer. He continually introduces new fitness programmes in order to keep me motivated and has been very helpful in developing routines for improving my running times. Both my general fitness and running ability have improved immeasurably during my time with Sean. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to others.
I have been using Sean every 1 or 2 weeks as a personal trainer for about 3 years. I am a 65 years old male with a prolapsed disk in my lower spine and suffer from back ache periodically. Sean offers consistently good advice, devises appropriate exercises/stretches/massages to mitigate problems and has improved my all round fitness enormously. I also visit a commercial gym twice a week and Sean's advice and suggested exercise regimes are very helpful and better than that available at the gym.
I found that I did not have the time or the motivation to join a gym so I decided to try having regular sessions with a personal trainer. Sean has been my personal trainer for the last four months and I have found Sean to be very knowledgeable in all aspects of health and fitness. Sean is an excellent personal trainer and has absolutely transformed my level of fitness. He is incredibly motivating, yet without the macho attitude that some trainers have. He is very skilled at targeting exercise to build towards long-term goals, whilst always taking careful account of how you are on the day.
I have been seeing Sean for about 10 years, initially in his gym but for the last 5 years at home as I am now disabled. He comes to my house once a week, and thanks to him my fitness level has improved, as has my disability. He will push me to my limit, but knows when I have had enough and is exceptionally careful about doing any exercise the correct way. Charming and helpful I would recommend him to anyone who wants someone who will understand their own personal needs and will tailor the exercises to suit and who is genuinely interested in helping them.
