Kris has undertaken various jobs throughout my house from replacing bathroom, ripping out kitchen and replacing, building a panty, repairing a flood damaged ceiling where this completely collapsed - building slab and shed for garden! Easy to work with, reliable and honest too!

I first came across Kristof (Scot-Pol) in 2008 when they did some painting in my flat. They are painters and that is it. They have recently done some work at a property which I am not too pleased with. They did plumbing work which they should not have done as they are not qualified to do. Just to give you an example they did some tiling in our bathroom and blocked in all the plumbing! Should anything go wrong with the toilet in future there is no way to access this. As a plumber they need to take these kinds of things into consideration. Also they had to take our previous shower done do the tiling and then put it back on. They broke the shower when they put it back on. So basically even when the shower was off it was still dripping with water and we had to turn the water off at the mains for 20 days! Before they came back and fixed it! I am appalled. All the plumbing work they have done is completely botched up and has not passed the building warrant. I have now got a plumber through the council who is doing this work and I am having to pay them to re-do the shoddy work that Kristof and his team have done. I am now in the process of reporting them to trading standards and the council/building warrant people are going to back up that they work done was not of a high standard. I have sent text messages to Kristof on numerous occasions but he has failed to respond to anyone of them to rectify the matter. But in all honesty I would never use them again as they left our house looking like a bombsite. They do not clean up after themselves like other proper qualified tradesmen. Please feel free to contact me as I would hate for anyone to go through what I have been through. Kris recently bricked up a hole in the wall where the old gas fire had been, taking into consideration the gas plumbing where the new fire was to be fitted. He bricked, plastered, rough cast, fitted a problematic air vent and fitted a new plug point where a junction fuse box had been, all in one day! He was extremely industrious with all the work carried out to a high standard and at a very very reasonable price. We're looking to get a partition wall built in the house with French Doors fitted and Kris has already provided a very competitive price and I will not hesitate to have him and his team along to carry out the work. As an update, we did have Kris and his team back to do the partition. All I can say is, fantastic. Met him at B&Q at 7am to buy the materials, 11 hours later we have the most brilliant partition in place, plastered perfectly, doors hanging lovely, a super job for a very good price. I need work done to my driveway and once the frost has gone I'll be in touch with Kris to get him back after a verbal price on the job.

Very reliable team of painters who finished earlier than estimated but quality of workmanship was still very high. Little extra jobs were no trouble and were done in no time. Kristof and his team were a joy to have in our home - he has a good banter. I'm already saving to have them back to finish the rest of the house.

Kristov and his team created a new Kitchen space for us recently and the workmanship has been to a very high standard. Always keen to finish, whatever difficulties are uncovered, to a high standard and with a laugh and a joke. Would not hesitate to recommend and have in fact done so to friends and neighbours.

Scot-Pol did a great job plastering our hallway which was a difficult job. They came back with a competitive price and did high quality very smooth plastering. They worked a long day to get the job done quickly.

Scot-Pol have now done four jobs for my business and I highly recommend them. They are punctual, friendly and provide excellent quotes. The standard of the work is very good and they kept to their quotations. I have no problem in recommending them to family and friends.

Refurbishment of hall. Strip all down to base, new plaster all walls and ceiling with repairs made good. Finish all gloss and silk paint throughout. Nothing too much of a problem, kept to the initial quote, finished to my complete satisfaction. Next project: bathroom. Highly recommended.

Used Scot-Pol to get my hall and stairway painted. They quoted a good price and got all the painting done within 1 day. Overall finish was really good. Kristof was a very friendly professional and he provided a great service. I would not hesitate in recommending them. .

Initianally replacement shower room. Installation, flooring tiling etc. I was so impressed with the quality of the work, speed and service that they provided that I asked them if they could do some plastering work in other areas of my home. They plastered and decorated my entire flat within a weekend. In addition they also designed and built a new wardrobe system in my bedroom. Finally, they re-floored the entire place too! I cannot recommend Scot-Pol highly enough. Within a few weeks I had a completely new flat at what I believe was an exceptionally good price. Great company, great service and great work ethic. The 1st time i used scot-pol was to renovate my bathroom. The finish was good and the work was accurate to the drawings i provided. My bathroom had no heating and the plaster took a long time to dry out so they worked long hours after this delay (which was not there fault in anyway) to make sure the job was done on time. The price was very competitive and the workmanship on all trades, plastering, plumbing, joinery, tiling, electrical and painting was to a good standard. I am an architect, so i like to think i know good work when i see it and I have since recommended them to a number of family, friends and colleagues whom have all had similar experiences with them.
