About Scenic Painters
Courses in scenic painting run from a professional scenic art studio. We offer a series of weekend courses which focus on particular areas of scenic painting and scenic art. Topics covered include wood effects, stone, metal and brick. We also offer backdrop painting courses, a two week introduction course and a five week course covering most aspects of scenic painting and scenic art.
The site is also home to the “Scenic Painters Directory”, a directory of scenic painters and scenic artists that covers the whole of the UK. Each scenic artist has a profile page with a gallery, work experience and training history as well as other useful information. We have artists listed in most parts of the UK. Its free to join and use the directory.
The Scenic Painters website has a very useful Jobs notice board where employers post details of their requirements. This has been used by scenery companies, theatre companies and schools. We've posted work for the fashion, film, TV and theatre industries. Its free to use for scenics and employers.
