From first contact with SBI to the completion of the work I was impressed by the company’s efficiency and attention to detail. The fitters, Steven and Gerrard, were excellent. Clearly very knowledgable they took obvious pride in their work and their instruction and advice regarding operation and maintenance very clear and helpful.

I am extremely pleased with the awning fitted by SBI. The old awning was removed, and 2 weeks later the new awning was fitted by John and Dominic. They were very efficient and tidy, with a clear explanation of how it works. I am looking forward to using it when the rain stops!

If you ever consider installing an awning on your property there is only one company to ask and that is SBI Installations. The company are efficient in all aspects not just when you are a new customer but their after service is excellent. I have been using the company for a number of years now and at all times the friendly staff have pulled out all the stops, even sending an engineer when I wasn’t able to obtain locally a suitable battery for my remote controller. The engineer visited within 48 hours of my initial enquiry for this problem and kept in constant touch on email as to how to deal and resolve the same. One well organised super company - USE THEM ? .

We selected the the SBI 16 carport in conjunction with a roller shutter. From the outset the customer service we received from James was outstanding and this continued throughout the delivery, installation into aftercare, professional throughout. The quality of the carport components were robust and well finished, giving a very pleasing, solid and great looking structure. This was topped off with a roller shutter door to our drive which operates smoothly via remote controls. Gerard and Steven carried out our installation and you could not wish to be in better hands, hard working and excellent craftsmanship. In a world of similar products it is the people that make the difference and SBI are outstanding.

SBI have installed a beautiful awning to the back of my house; Michael Dominic and Mark were quick and polite and kept me informed at every stage of the installation. I can't wait for summer to test its effectiveness!

Erection of carport. Most satisfactory. Work crew arrived when they said they would, got to work rapidly and kept at it, finishing the job in a single day. Good going, considering the size of the carport.

We are very pleased with the awning which was installed in a very professional manner and how to use it clearly explained by Gerard and Steven.

The task was to get my balcony blind working again because I had recently not been able to get it to open - very annoying in very sunny weather! The SBI engineers solved the problem and also added the facility to ensure the blind retracts in strong wind (very important in a second floor flat! ). Additionally they demonstrated very pleasant personalities.

The whole repair was done very professionally and my awning now works perfectly.

The motor on my awning had stopped working. As the rest of the awning was in good condition, I wanted a repair not a replacement. Every other company just wanted to sell me a new one except for SBI. The team in Head Office were very helpful and on Tuesday 2 cheerful and very competent chaps arrived to replace the motor and give the awning a thorough clean and check. I am so pleased to have the awning working again and would recommend SBI after such a positive experience.

I had my old, collapsing wooden verandah replaced with a new one in aluminium, better matching the style of the house, and also much brighter. Gerrard's team did a very good job, taking down and dismantling the old parts first, and setting up the posts and frame of the roof. They had to finish the roof during a second date because of a technical problem with one of the roof glass panels, but the result is very satisfying and beautiful, and at a competitive price to boot. I can recommend this firm!

I had an awning erected at both the front and back of the house. The team were professional and helpful. I am pleased with the result.

Recently had an electric awning fitted and produced with a logo at our golf club. Installation was a quick and easy process, with minimal disruption to the site. Installers were courteous, friendly and efficient. Would definitely use again.

We had an awning and a side screen fitted yesterday and are very happy with the level of service from first contact to the installation. Although at the other end of the country, James supported us through our selection and ordering and he kept us upto date at every stage. I had a 3 meter awning installed today and I am delighted ! The 3 men that installed it were absolutely lovely and helpful. They explained everything beautifully. My 14 year old, Thomas Sanderson awning had started playing up but Thomas Sanderson had withdrawn from the awnings market some years ago. I tried a quick Google search for possible companies that could maintain my awning. SBI was returned as an option which had a website indicating that they had undertaken work on TS awnings. I made initial contact via the website and discussed options over the phone. A menu of options was provided with a recommended minimum for my model and age of awning. A detailed breakdown of costs was also provided. After further email and telephone exchanges a programme of work was decided and a date agreed for the work to be undertaken. Gerard and Kevin arrived on the agreed date and thoroughly cleaned the awning The dodgy motor was replaced and an upgraded wind sensor fitted. The awning was tested and the new remote control programmed. The work was carried out to a high standard and the awning now looks much improved and more importantly is now working.Moreexpand_more
