Sean listened carefully to our requirements, and did exactly what was asked for. He is polite, considerate, and above all an excellent carpenter. He installed a variety of shelving in different spaces, and all was done to an exemplary standard - very pleasing.

Sean recently build and installed a custom office room for me, everything from the shelving to a custom desk. The work was completed in great time and to an excellent standard, I couldn't have hoped for a better job!

Sean gave my kitchen the most amazing face lift with new cupboard doors, drawers and fittings. He arrived when he said he would, completed the job in the time given and, most importantly, took away the old stuff and cleaned up ! A fantastic job. Thanks, Sean.

Sean fitted nine clear pine doors for me; since none of these were in particularly common sizes, sourcing a matching set was not easy. In some instances the size and style of door that I wanted was just not available, so Sean made up these doors in his workshop and these matched the ones obtained 'off the shelf' really well. With some smart brass hinges, handles and catches, I now have a very nice set of doors. Sean went to a lot of effort to find or make precisely what I was after. On starting the job, it became clear that my frames would need a bit of alteration and this Sean did with no fuss at all; he also gave me some advice on treating the doors. The job was done in three days and Sean tidied up after himself at the end of each day, leaving no mess. I would definitely recommend SB Carpentry to anyone needing carpentry services and have asked Sean to price for fitting a hinged loft hatch with architrave.

Sean supplied and hung six internal doors with hardware. Initially he helped me to refine my choice of hardware to ensure the standard of finish that I wanted, selecting stainless ball bearing hinges and good quality handles to compliment the solid core doors and his experience was highly valued in supplying some bespoke oak thresholds to match our interior. I have already personally recommended Sean to a friend for his attention to detail and focus on customer service, and I would not hesitate to recommend him again.

Sean replaced our balustrade, removed and re-installed the entire skirting upstairs, his attention to detail and pride in his work is second to none and this translated into a stunning finished product. We find Sean a pleasure to work with and he provides some very useful tips. We will not hesitate to refer him onto anyone else and will without doubt be using his services once more.

I can't be positive enough about the work that Sean carried out for us. If like me you aren't sure exactly what you want but know what you want it to do, he's your man! Sean listened to what I wanted, designed something on the computer and sent it over next day with the quote. We worked together on a few revisions of the design and then the following week he built it in his workshop - lovely, minimises mess and noise in your own home! - then spent a day fitting it. He is extremely professional, polite, punctual and quick to respond to email/phone messages. His attention to detail is second to none. He cleaned up any dust at the end of the day and I am thrilled with my shelf/cupboards. A definite recommend!

Sean visited us in September and planned out a storage solution in our attic for a 5 metre wardrobe to a tight budget. Sean built and fitted the wardrobes and the quality of his work was very high and I would definetely recommend him. Excellant and thank you Sean.

Contacted Sean to remove old and then supply and fit a banister to the staircase. Sean was professional through the entire process, always kept in communication with me whether is was to confirm work or let me know he was stuck in traffic. SB Carpentry were contracted to design and fit bespoke radiator cabinets. The design, quality and installation were all exceptional. SB Carpentry were patient, polite and forthcoming with innovative ideas. We were delighted with the end result and price - which was very competitive.

SB Carpentry created me a bespoke tv cabinet which also doubles in hiding a very out of date gas fire. The quote and price which SB Carpentry gave us was about £250 cheaper than any other carpenter that gave us a quote. SB Carpentry worked around our schedule in order to install this at our house (he worked all weekend over a Bank Holiday to complete this) and the finished article looks like it has come out of a high end furniture shop. I would definately recommend using SB Carpentry and when i need anything done in my house i will definately us them again.

SB Carpentry fitted my kitchen at a very reasonable price and I have to say the quality of workmanship was excellent. Seans service was personal advising on the best options and ensuring my requirements were met and he paid great attention to detail in fitting the kitchen from top to bottom. I am a repeat customer of SB Carpentry, having been consistently impressed by the quality of the workmanship. I have always found their prices to be fair, with accurate quotes before starting any work. Some examples of work carried out over the last few years:- Fire Doors. Ten fire doors supplied and fitted to comply with building regulations - the door frames needed significant adjustment to accommodate the larger doors, which was done to the highest standard. Many doors needed adjustments to fit various carpet thicknesses, and the doors were all left working well. - Bedroom furniture. Sean provided a comprehensive 'design, build and fit' service for some bedroom furniture (built-in wardrobes with matching chest of drawers and bedside cabinets). He was very patient with our uncertainty over colourings, and provided a clear design of the final 'look'. We were delighted with the outcome and would not hesitate to use him again for future bedroom renovations. - Sideboard. Based on some rough specifications, Sean designed and constructed a beautiful oak sideboard from scratch, matching an existing table and perfectly complementing the wooden flooring.- Wooden Flooring. Sean helped us choose the most suitable flooring for our hallway and dining room - we were delighted with the result and regularly receive comments from guests as they enter our house on how beautiful it looks.Moreexpand_more
