About Sally Barton
Sally Barton has worked as an artist and illustrator for over 25 years, working in watercolour as well as greyscale/graphite, and is a member of the Society of Graphic Fine Art (SGFA).
She welcomes commissions for single and group portraits as well as for house portraits - please see samples.
Once a fee and timeline is agreed upon, Sally will create a pencil rough in the first instance, so that the over-all content and layout can be approved (or changes made); once the pencil rough stage is approved, Sally will go on to complete the finished artwork in watercolour. Payment is only due once the finished portrait is received by the client.
The artist's studio is based near Canterbury, Kent.
The artist works to commission, to create portraits in watercolour, according to a client's brief - working from good quality photographs or via arranged visits/sittings. This includes house portraits as well as human ones!
As an exhibiting artist, Sally's work has appeared in local and national exhibitions, including the Sunday Times Watercolour Competition, The Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour, and the Society of Graphic Fine Art - all at the Mall Galleries London.
She has also exhibited at the Anise Gallery and Menier Gallery in London, as well as being represented by the Stark Gallery in Canterbury.0 FreeIndex Reviews
