I would thoroughly recommend Sage Roofing South West Ltd for any roofing needs. We have just had Justin and his team replace our entire roof, guttering at the rear of the house and repoint/repair the chimney. The roof looks fantastic! And the chimney repointing is a thing of beauty. They did an amazing job, everyone was very reliable and so hard-working, every day come rain or shine. I cannot express how great the team at Sage roofing are. We were given updates along the way, and they answered any questions we had. All the team take pride in their work, working to very high standards and care about you as the customer. The scaffolding was erected quickly, and the entire roof was replaced within a week. After deciding we wanted a complete new roof, and seeing how other roofers work, we contacted Sage roofing, everything was put in place for us, and they even contacted building control so we had a certificate from the council at the end of the job that all has passed and the certificate went with our deeds of our property. Scaffold arrived on time, and complete new roof was done, left our home clean and tidy. Thanks to all the team for job well done, would fully recommend.

With rainwater suddenly coming through our lounge ceiling one evening (in January), urgent calls were made to a number of roofing companies the following morning. One said the earliest they could come out was May! Justin from Sage said he could come over the following day and duly turned up at the appointed hour. Within 10 minutes he had diagnosed what the problem was, taken some photos of it which he was then happy to send me, and all for no charge (because as he put it, he hadn’t actually done any work for us). The problem was subsequently put right by the loft conversion company who installed the Velux Windows, but we now know a good, reliable roofer for the future. Thanks Justin, much appreciated.

Having struggled to keep our roof safe and waterproof for many years we decided that it was time to finally get the roof repaired professionally so that it would last. We found that Sage roofing were professional in all respects. All the team were hard working, approachable and helpful with all work being carried out to an excellent standard. The final task was an inspection by Justin to ensure that all work was perfect, neat and safe. I can not recommend Sage roofing highly enough and would use them for any roof work in the future.

We employed Sage roofing for a complete recovering of our house roof, with insulation. They were considerate, careful and kept us informed at all times. I was recommended to contact Sage roofing to have my ridge tiles re-bedded but Justin Sage the owner suggested having a dry ridge system which is much more substantial and longer lasting. I decided to go along with his experience, and within days of looking at my roof he sent two of his roofing team, Ken and Arron. Both men were very hard working, experienced, helpful in their explanation of what they were doing, and made me feel at ease with the job they done. Justin turned up when promised and gave us good advice, explaining what needed doing to overhaul our roof. He and his team were reliable, friendly and got on with the job. He kept us informed throughout. The job was completed without fuss, on time and on budget.

The men from Sage Roofing were professional courteous and polite, during the work which was to replace the bottom run of felt and battens, replace any broken tiles and to reinstate the ridge tiles. The cantilevered scafolding supplied for the works was installed to a very high standard, Sage Roofing used a very capable partner, all in all I am very pleased with the work done.

Storm Doris blew ridge tiles from our roof overnight. Justin arrived within an hour of contacting sage roofing. He had spare tiles with him and fixed the problem straight away. He then reattached a TV Ariel cable that had blown loose and fixed a chimney flashing leak there and then. Brilliant service and could not recommend sage roofing more highly.

My roof developed a leak during the heavy rain in November, recalling the news footages of cars under flood water in Whitchurch Lane Bristol. I called various roofing companies to come and survey the work required and provide me with quotes. I chose Sage roofing and gladly so. It was clearly evident to me when dealing with Justin that he really cares and values his customers. Justin's communication, response times and customer service are excellent, not to mention his workmanship which I would describe to be of a high standard. This tradesman really takes pride in what he does and does it the right way. Hopefully I won't have any more leaking problems but if I Do then Sage roofing would be my first call. Sage Roofing replaced the felt and tiles on my 1930's semi, re-using the old tiles. In particular they took care to conserve the nest sites of the swifts which nest in the eaves and to provide new entrances for them in the soffits taking advice from experts from Bristol Swifts Project. Justin Sage also put up swift nest boxes which I had made for me. The work was done quickly and on time, I was kept informed of progress and they took care to clean up well afterwards. I have a main roof, which is a valley and therefore not standard, and two smaller extension roofs. Sage completely replaced all three and installed insulation under the bathroom roof as there was none. My bathroom will be so much warmer now and it has solved the mystery of why it was so very cold, especially in winter. This was all done by two teams of extremely professional, quiet, friendly, clean roofers, the second of which (Ken and Aaron) worked so hard I don't know how they kept going! Well done Justin Sage, your boys did you proud.

Sage responded very quickly to my requests my roof was leaking in various locations. Justin did an inspection and gave me options and quotations. I chose a complete roof strip and replacement felt and lags reusing all good existing tiles and replacing damaged tiles were required. The job was done promptly they provided all scaffolding, materials and labour removing all rubbish. We have been very happy with their works.

I phoned Sage Roofing on a Sunday after we had a leak in our dining room after terrible weather. He said that he could come out and take a look the same day and arrived very swiftly within 30 minutes and investigated. He found a cracked tile and misplaced lead and replaced and rearranged it straight away. We were very grateful that he could provide such a professional and prompt service which we also felt was very good value for money.

After the initial review of my issue with damp penetration Justin gave a preliminary estimate. He then arranged scaffolding and made a closer inspection at roof level before confirming the problem with damp entering through the coping stones of the gable end wall, after which he confirmed the estimate. The work, which entailed wrapping the coping stones with lead, was then completed promptly and to a high standard, including anchoring the lead work, including expansion joints and finishing with patination oil. The final effect is in keeping with the overall style of the house. He finished off the work by replacing poor quality mortar and properly dressing the adjacent roof tiles. Justin was very accommodating and helpful throughout and I would be very happy to recommend him.
