If you want the short answer: yes you should definitely hire Russell as your wedding photographer! Wow we have never met such a talented, patient and friendly professional. Russell cannot do enough for you! We first met Russell at our wedding venue’s dining club evening and we got on great. It felt like we’d known Russell for years. Turns out we sort of do as he had photographed another family members wedding over 15 years ago. When we were enquiring with Russell you could instantly tell he was experienced. The way he spoke about his role on a wedding day was so reassuring. We knew he was the one! We then decided to accept Russell’s offer of a free engagement photoshoot. He travelled all the way to South Wales to spend the afternoon with us and our dog down the beach. It was a great way to get to know each other. These photos came out better than we could’ve expected which meant we knew we’d get amazing wedding photos. On our wedding day Russell arrived as his usual fun and organised self. Immediately jumping into action fixing the groomsmen’s pocket squares ready for the photos to begin. He had a ladder for the big group shots, amazing coaching through our personal photos and even kept his cool when we sprung upon him a last minute sparkler idea! When we got the photos (which was only a week later for 1500 photos!) they were incredible. He captured moments we didn’t even realise he was there for. Being able to pass on the client portal details for all our friends and family to be able to enjoy too has been such a gift. Russell you are fantastic! Thank you so much. Just received our photographs from our wedding and they are stunning which was not an easy job for Russell as we are a slightly older couple! He took the most amazing photos just how we wanted mostly relaxed of family and friends and some formal, he really did us proud. He was very unobtrusive and really captured the day beautifully. I first met Russell at my sister’s wedding 4yrs previous to my own, back then I thought if I do ever get married he’s my photographer! I was so happy when Russell said he could do my wedding and love the photographs he took. We are very happy with the photos that Russell took for us on our wedding day. He really captured the happy moments of the day- great real, touching expressions not posed or false. Beautiful ‘still’ photos that show the setting, flowers etc which complement the ‘action’ shots. Also, we had the photos on an extremely sweet USB ( I won’t spoil the surprise) within 3 weeks. Russell told our story in photos in a way we’ll treasure.

Stunning family photos! Russell was engaging and kind our children instantly felt happy and comfortable enjoying the experience. He captured many, much treasured moments we couldn’t be happier. Can’t thank you enough!

Our special day was 10/10/17 and we chose Russel to be our photographer after our initial meeting earlier this year, when it felt like we had known him forever! His work was certainly value for money with Russel staying much longer than we had paid him to, capturing shots that would have otherwise been missed. Both my Husband and myself, have welcomed Russel into our circle as to have all our guests who positively enjoyed and played into his fun loving, spirited, energetic contribution to our day. His organisational skills assisted everyone to be in the right place at the right time, creating natural shots of guests who didn't even feel like they were being photographed. Russel is a true professional and a true gentleman. All this said, there is no point having all the etiquette and charm if you are unable to do a job! When we saw the photographs we cried with happiness as we re-lived the day with no expression, smile or giggle being missed. Russell did our wedding photos last August and he was absolutely brilliant. He caught many special and spontaneous moments and also guided us to make some moments even more special. From the first point of contact right through to the after our wedding day, the service from Russell was amazing. He put us both at ease straight away and we knew he would be fantastic. He helped us to decide who to have photographs of and what would work best, and even coordinated with our band to let everyone know it was time for the first dance! We are so glad we chose Russell to capture our wedding, looking back at our photos is like reliving the day. All the photos look absolutely fantastic and we love them so much. During the day Russell went above and beyond to get the photos we wanted. He was professional but not over the top, he embraced the light hearted, fun atmosphere of our day and fitted in perfectly. We booked Russell to do our wedding earlier this year (2017) - at our first meeting we immediately felt happy and at ease that he was just what we wanted; great photographs but with minimum fuss - lots of candid, natural shots that not only captured the day but captured the character of all our guests. This Russell delivered and more. In place early and straight away sprung into action - in many ways he became a guest, easily floating around and capturing the key moments of the day - one friend even asked him who he was friends with - bride or groom? - as they thought he was a mate who we had asked to take our photos! We had a slight hiccup with one very important guest, but this was no trouble for Russell who went above and beyond in order to get us the full set of pictures to go with the day. Had he not done that, then we would have been missing photos of a key person in our lives. The more formal photos were done with style, humor and repartee that just fitted in with the day and created just the right atmosphere. For us, the bride and groom, moving around the city centre was great fun and resulted in some super shots. Russell has an eye for the detail and know what will make a good photo. To get great photos at a wedding you need to build relationships with a lot of people, quickly. Russell did this with ease and was therefore able to get some wonderful photos. After extensive research of local photographers we chose Russell to be our wedding photographer and we were not disappointed! We met up with Russell prior to our wedding, explained our wishes and chose a package to meet our requirements. From the first meeting up until delivery of the wedding photos Russell’s customer service was second to none; keeping us informed, replying to email requests promptly and professionally and offering his service at an extremely competitive price. On the day Russell was punctual and extremely amicable. Our guests commented on his friendly nature and his ability to blend into the background. Russell made us feel at ease and easily overcame obstacles as and when they arose, such as torrential downpours on the wedding day. We departed for honeymoon soon after the wedding. Russell processed and sent us the photographs quickly so we could look at them whilst we were away. The quality and the creativity of the shots were outstanding and we were not disappointed. Russell is a amazing photographer cant recommend him enough so passionate about his work and that shows in his photography. The photographs he captured and organising everyone he is so attentive and the albums he has put together are brilliant cant thank him enough would highly recommend nothing is to much trouble and he goes that extra mile to make sure everything is just perfect.

I cannot recommend Russell enough. He did an amazing job on our wedding day, not only with his amazing photography but also at organising our wedding party, making people feel at ease and generally being part of our big day! I had so many guests tell me how great they thought Russell was on the day. From getting ready in the morning to the first dance Russell caught so many magical moments and I cannot recommend him enough. I know that people often gush about wedding days and people involved but I can't praise Russell more highly for the professional, thoughtful and creative service he gave us. Russell listened to what we wanted and delivered photographs we are delighted with. Russell was our wedding photographer in August this year at Lemore Manor and he blew us away in every aspect of his service. Where do we begin we booked Russell for our wedding photos over a year in advance and we certainly understand why he gets so booked up now! Russell has a unique way about him that just makes you comfortable and relaxed in his company. He has the ability to not just take photos but bring the photos alive. The photos both posed and natural are truly amazing, Allister and I our not a fan of having our photos taken but we literally forgot that Russell was there at times. You can tell when someone it truly passionate about there job and Russell truly is and wants to deliver the best photos possible for you. His attention to detail is just incredible, I love Ox Eye daisies and daisies in general, so whilst I was having my hair and makeup done, Russell was lying in the garden with my bouquet, shoes and hair piece amongst the daisies getting beautiful shots. Russell became part of the whole day and joined in with our family and friends rather than just being the photographer. All our family and friends including us thought Russell was polite, charming (even when our guests tried hiding from the photos), funny and very easy to get along with. He really is a gentleman to save my dress from getting dirty whilst sitting down in the gardens he took his suit jacket off for me to sit down on for the photos, he noticed my bouquet wasn't in water, he found something for them to go into!We cannot thank you enough Russell, photos are just so important to look back on and we cannot recommend you highly enough. There are no amount of words that can do Russell or his work justice - you simply have to book him to experience the magic yourself! Booking Russell for our wedding was such an easy decision ever since he beautifully captured a family wedding in 2010. Russell is always willing to go the extra mile (literally! ) which was evident when he travelled over 50 miles - in both directions to accommodate our portrait session in an indoor location as the weather was not on our side and the rain showed no signs of stopping! Russell's work ethic is flawless; he is exceptionally talented with a keen eye for detail, extremely professional, goes to great lengths to capture perfect moments - both discreetly and dramatically and his interaction with the wedding party is spot on - he is polite, funny and courteous so you just can't help but like him! Furthermore, Russell's communication and delivery before, during and after the wedding has been excellent; the photos from our portrait session and wedding were available in just 2 days and 3 weeks respectively and all special requests were accommodated with no questions asked. The end results were phenomenal - Ewan and I thought our day had been captured perfectly and we are grateful to Russell for helping us create perfect memories of our wedding day. Thank you!
