Roving Plumbers

Ian has just replaced my old bath with a lovely large shower. He gave me an estimate for the work and the final total was just a bit less than this. He helpfully advised me where to buy the shower cubicle, shower, wall panels and other materials required. He was punctual, helpful, very tidy and did an excellent job. My bathroom now has a new lease of life and I am happy to recommend Ian for any similar work.

Emailed Ian through his gumtree ad on Sunday evening with a blocked pipe. Even though I had specified that it wasn't urgent, he replied that same day and arrived for agreed visit on the dot at 9. 30am next morning even though its a Bank Holiday Monday. Fixed the problem quickly and did another job for me that I had been meaning to get around to, whilst there. Highly Recommended.

Ian McKinlay was employed to renew a very tired and ugly cloakroom. Ian called to check the job and give a very reasonable quote. As it was just a days work he said he would fit it in when he could(fine for us as no rush). Ian called back within the week after we had informed him that we had purchased the suite to be installed. Ian arrived at the stated time and worked quietly and respectfully in our home. He also went the extra mile finding extra replacement flooring in our over stuffed garage(rather him than me). Work was completed on time and apart from the presence of a lovely new suite it was as if he had not been here. Everywhere clean and possibly tidier than before he started work. Replied promptly giving a quote and also included some other information, replied promptly when I left him a phone message and discussed the job in hand. Arrived on time, identified the work, got on with it very quickly and thoroughly checked work before leaving. Tidied up after himself and at all times was friendly and polite. Job came in under original quote and did not try to find any other "jobs". Overall a very fast, polite, efficient service and we will use again for any plumbing problems.

The plumber, Ian McKinlay was outstanding, he arrived promptly and set about the repairs with a vengeance, working without break for more than five hours. The original fault was fixed within an hour and a second more serious fault was diagnosed, parts sourced, bought locally and fitted in a very professional manner. This guy is good!
