This Company manufactured sash windows for our entire house and once installed and inspected we were shocked at the poor quality and standard of finish - scratches to the frames, marks within the glass units, poorly fitted seals, astragal bars that were held on with 'sticky pads' etc. Roseview Windows made futile attempts at repairs and we were left with no alternative but to reject the windows and have them removed from our house. We were successful in achieving this after a long battle. We would not recommend this Company's product. A PS and clarification to the response from Roseview Windows:Roseview Windows approved Installer installed these windows which were manufactured under license by Roseview. These windows were fitted late 2013 early 2014. We had a two-year battle through the Courts to achieve our consumer rights and have our money and costs returned and the windows removed hence the delay in submitting reviews. The quality of these windows was a direct result of the manufacturing techniques and non-existent quality control of Roseview Windows. They were covered in scratches and defects, we have over 200 photographs depicting the problems. This was how they were delivered.Roseview Windows WERE implicated in the Court action under a Part 20 Claim (CPR 20.7) action by their approved Installer. It is interesting to note that Roseview now admit there was a problem with the glazing! Our motive is to warn other people of the absolute rubbish that we received and the appalling lack of any customer care or consideration. The reviews posted are one hundred per cent honest and accurate and if Roseview Windows think otherwise we are happy to discuss the matter in another place.Moreexpand_more
We can't recommend this company highly enough. We visited their base in Olney to research the products on offer, and are delighted with the finished windows which were to replace three rotten traditional sash windows with run-through horns. The service from start to finish has been friendly, well organised and efficient. The installation was carried out quickly and very efficiently, with minimal mess, no fuss and a high quality finish. Can't fault this product.
We recently employed Roseview to replace over sixty very large (decaying) timber Sash windows and doors in our Georgian style house in Aldham, North Essex. We went with their Heritage UPVC sash windows with a woodgrain finish. We are extremely happy with both the results (they look every bit as impressive as. The timber windows we replaced) and the overall service we received from Roseview. Nothing was too much trouble, including sourcing antique brass window funiture to changing a couple of door sets when we wanted the glazing bar pattern altered. The fitters were ultra professional and extremely tidy, a major plus for us given they were with us for a full month completing the installation. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommeding both Roseview as a company and the Heritage sash range that we chose.
I looked at some neighbour's windows and asked what company they used and it was Roseview. It seems lots of people in Newport Pagnell use them. I would highly recommend Roseview - in fact I cannot see why anyone would go elsewhere! Firstly the salesman who visited, Richard, was informative, very polite and not pushy. There was none of that 1970's hard sell rubbish. He answered all subsequent queries promptly. The product looked good and the price was competitive and in fact half the price of a well known company who advertise a lot. Roseview specialise in sash windows and living in a conservation area we needed windows as near as possible to the originals. Ours have Georgian bars and I cannot stand those windows with what looks like a glued on strip or black or silver on the inside which makes them look cheap. Roseview's bars look not far off how the original Georgian bars looked. The company use their own fitters and I have to say I could not fault them. They were so skilled, efficient and friendly. I felt happy to leave them in the house. The job (6 windows and 2 were huge) was done in 3 days with a minimum of disruption. I hated the thought of ripping out beautiful original sashes but I am so pleased with the result. We found the old windows had been patched up over the years and they were some hidden problems festering away. Now we have windows which will last. Outside you could barely tell they are UPC - they look great. Inside it is more noticeable that they are PVC but mainly due to the knobs and catches but with the curtains it looks fine. One thing I really like is that inside they frame the windows with wood which gives a nice finish. Roseview has really impressed me as a company. I would not hesitate to use them again.Moreexpand_more
When we decided to replace the aluminium windows previously installed in our victorian home with traditional sash ones we met with several different companies. Roseview Windows immediately stood out from the rest in that they were professional, knowledgable, considerate to our needs, and did not put the 'hard sell' on us. They gave us the confidence that our house could restored to its former glory, and that they viewed our home as being as important to them as it was to us. And they certainly didn't let us down! The windows themselves are of extremely high quality and are easily mistaken for timber by passersby. The installation team were superb; they were efficient, skilled, tidy and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. We received nothing but a professional and friendly service from start to finish from Roseview Windows and we would genuinely recommend them to anyone.
We decided to restore the original character of our wonderful 1887 Victorian Villa by removing the 1980’s aluminium windows on the front of the property with traditional style sashes. Having recently moved into the property, our budget would not stretch to replacement timber frames, and to be honest, we didn’t want the maintenance element that they bring. We sourced a few UPVC Sash window companies and products before deciding on Roseview Windows (who also came highly recommended by a neighbour). We were/are extremely impressed with the quality of the windows and the attention to detail. The run through horns provide even more of an element of doubt to passers by who ponder on whether they are ‘original’ or not. They have totally restored the character and grandeur of the house. The sales team were always very helpful, informative and understanding of our needs. We had an excellent installation team, who went the extra mile to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. They were conscientious and sympathetic to the fact that this is our home, they were very tidy and made excellent repair of surrounding frames and walls. Altogether a very satisfied customer. I chose Roseview Windows because they were the only company that came up with a suitable, workable design for an awkward kitchen sash window that needed replacing. They also installed some Victorian sash bay windows and I can honestly say that the results are stunning. The window fitters were excellent, very quick clean and competent. I can highly recommend Roseview Windows the whole team are professional, friendly and make you feel that you are in safe hands. Give them a call you wont be disappointed!
