RoadRider School of Motorcycling

Good morning. I have recently attended a CBT test with road rider school of motorcycling. After I had my full hip operation I decided to go down the route of getting a bike and starting the journey of eventually a full bike license. Let me say road rider’s professionalism and down to earth friendly attitude put me at ease straight away. Tony and Baz / id like to say now friends are amazing people. Anyway I am glad to say I passed my CBT and I will certainly be back after I gather more on the bike experience for my full bike license. Took part in my CBT on a Saturday, big thanks to Bazz, Will, Tony and Tony, they made the day engaging and had a great time, they eased the nerves by passing a couple of jokes here and there but remained professional. The feedback given was clear and easy to follow, any concerns they had they raised straight away so you could make the changes necessary to improve, out on the road towards the end of the day they did the upmost to keep you safe and comfortable. Bikes were great and the equipment top notch. Will be back at a later date for the Direct Access hopefully sooner rather than later!

Due to a midlife crisis (If I live to 114 that is), I decided to purchase a 125cc fake Chinese Lambretta and discovered I needed a CBT. Contacted RoadRider via their website and got booked in for 22/10/22. From arriving to leaving later that day with my certificate, the whole day was professional, informative and enjoyable. The team were brilliant and at no time did I feel under pressure to succeed or have my safety compromised. Can't recommend them highly enough, will be back at some point to continue my biking education. Wonderful experience, cheers Big Lou.

Decided to do the 3 day DAS with Roadrider after doing my CBT with another company. Glad I did! Baz and Harriet were brilliant. Baz was helpful and encouraging throughout the whole course. Loads of time out on the bikes and good size practice area. Can’t fault them. Thanks!

Great team of instructors very professional, thorough and concise in their instructions. Tony our instructor kept the interest and had some light hearted jokes to get us through the long day. Would definitely use them for my DAS course.

Just passed my cbt and it was a great day. Little nervous to start but Tony the instructor made us feel welcome and at ease. Instructions were clear and precise, started off with a morning in the carpark learning the bikes and how to handle them, brand new honda 125s, very nice bikes, easy to handle and control. Tony was very positive in his approach and any mistakes you made were dealt with in a positive manner to ensure your competence on the machine. In the afternoon Tony was joined by Baz and they took us on the road for a couple of hours. You have Bluetooth instructions given by Tony on what he wanted from you, direction to take, that sort of thing, again in a calm and controlled manner. After a couple of minutes I felt at ease and with Tony's instructions I gained assurance on the road and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Just booked my Direct Access and cannot wait. Had my cbt with them April 2022, and learned whilst having a fantastic time. Very friendly without a lack of professionalism and very supportive when you need to work more on an exercise. Definitely going to do my A2 license with them.

What a great day…! 3 old friends decided that doing our CBT was something worthwhile. Booking with RoadRiders was quick and easy. When we arrived, we were immediately put at ease by the instructor, Jordan. He was informative, patient, friendly and very very funny. We learned a lot about safety and the use of safety equipment. The bikes were in excellent condition and simple to ride. Jordan gave clear instructions of basic riding principles as we practiced in the car park. In the afternoon we took to the road and were guided around the surrounding traffic systems. Jordan is an awesome instructor, and made the day into something quite magical. These guys are absolutely brilliant. I’d never been on a road bike before coming here. I recieved the CBT on the 7/1/22 from my wife as a Christmas present. Jordan was my instructor and he was amazing. Kept us all calm and taught us well. There were 4 on the day I went but everyone felt like it was a 1 to 1. Can’t recommend these guys enough. Did my Cbt test with Roadrider school in August 2021. Excellent, professional and relaxed approach to teaching. Jordan the trainer was very easy going and made you feel confident to achieve your goals. Would highly recommend. 5 stars.

I did my CBT on the 19th August with Jordan and it was a brilliant day. Everything was very professional but also fun and when you put a bit of fun in the day you take in a bit more of the information given. I would highly recommend RoadRider to anybody thinking of taking their CBT.

Instructor was very professional AKA {Jordon} very patient with you if you need a little bit more time then others recommend anyone who wants to do their CBT, so thank you so much you made me feel welcome and made me feel comfortable riding on the road. 10/10.

I chose RoadRider based on a friend's recommendation and wasn't disappointed. The CBT training was well delivered in a relaxed manner by Jordan, who was very informative, and always helpful and constructive. An entertaining full day, with some added humour from Baz. I will do the DAS course with them.

Amazing first CBT loved every moment of it the instructor Jordan was also amazing he had very helpful tips and tricks while on the road and practicing made me feel very welcome and overall was amazing thank you for the great service will see you again in 2 years :).

Came in to roadriders today as a complete newbie. Never touched a bike before and can honestly say it was a fantastic experience right through. Jordan made instruction very clear and had a good balance of banter and work ethic. Now I've passed I can't wait to get to do the DAS course.

At the age of 49 and having never ridden a motorbike in my life, I completed my CBT and DAS with Roadrider SoM. The training was fun but intensive, and I enjoyed every single training day. My advice to any novice would be to get plenty of training before attempting MOD 1&2 tests. Thanks, Bazz, Jordan and the two Tonys. Ride Safe!

I did my CBT today at Road Rider. I can happily say Jordan the instructor is as good as you will find, whether you are an experienced rider or a beginner. He has that knack of knowing how to teach to each individuals needs, something very rare these days. It is not the macho day you get with some riding schools, just an easy going day with attention to detail that will educate you and make you a safer rider. Highly recommend!
