With a studio in Birmingham, River Studio provides photography to clients throughout the UK. Set-up in 1990 by Richard Battye, the company has over 18 years experience in the commercial and advertising sector. Work is very diverse, from company brochures and web site photography, to images of food, cars, people, places and products. A large part of the business is shooting the creative and performing arts; musicians, actors and dancers. From Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath to musicians from the CBSO. 2008 saw lots of fashion, and shots of famous faces including Princess Anne and John McCarthy.

River Studio has an expanding customer base, located in and around Birmingham, including the City Council, blue chip companies and advertising and design agencies.

The company is managed by Richard Battye who has been involved in the Photography Studio industry for many years. Richard Battye (BA Hons) is well trained to look after the company, having previously worked for other studios before freelancing in 1990 when River Studio was established. A wealth of experience and a creative eye means every shoot is completed to a very high standard.
