Hello I am a designer/carpenter/manufacturer who specialises in wood products in particular, storage solutions for your space.
Originally I started as a graphic designer both contracted and self employed but gradually moved into carpentry, kitchen fitting and design solutions. I am happy to take on any of those roles. Variety being the spice of life.
If you have any carpentry requirements then I am happy to discuss your brief and cover the many options that are available. If you want something made as a custom item then no problem, just get in touch. I will respect your space and always keep things as tidy as possible during the works. Some items can be made in my workshop minimising disruption to you.
Don't throw it away! I can fix many things across a wide range of materials that might otherwise end up in the bin. Give me a shout and I'll let you know whether it's possible. Thanks for reading.
Rich (RiFiX) designed and built a wall of shelving in my study. It was a challenging brief as the wall is an irregular shape and I had specific storage needs. Rich is a problem solver: he offered creative solutions, and advised on materials. He is a perfectionist and his commitment to the project was admirable and appreciated. The price was competitive and very fair. I am delighted with the result which has enhanced the room practically and aesthetically.
I have had some work work done by Rich Fisher. A cupboard re shelved and doors put on, it was an awkward cupboard to redesign due to existing frame that was there. He managed to source all the materials, redesign the shelving and finished the job on time and to a very high standard. Very pleased with the finished product.
Rich (RiFiX design) made me a lovely unit for a specific space. This was built to my specifications with Rich asking me what I intended to use each space for, with intelligent suggestions for how to improve in my specifications. I am delighted with the work, and because we discussed materials and cost, it came out at a very reasonable price for bespoke furniture. Rich has previously built and fitted shelves for specific spaces in my current and previous houses and these have always been great and lasted well.
Rich carried out a superb carpentry restoration job for me. He restored and strengthened 6 of the original arched top wooden windows in the 150 year old steam engine winding house which originally powered the Hanham Colliery. He even made a new replacement arched top opening casement to fit one of the window frames, I suspect that this has rarely been done by any carpenter in the last 50 years. His work is the most impressive part of the total restoration of this beautiful historic stone building which is now the front piece of the Hanham Business Park and a local land mark which has since been featured in the Bristol Evening Post. I highly recommend Rich's craftsmanship.
