Craig carried out a mini service and replaced the inner tubes, the back tyre and handle bar grips. My £20 bargain now feels like a brand new bike! He was on time, very polite and friendly with excellent correspondence up to my appointment. I cannot recommend Repair2Ride enough. Many thanks, Craig ? .
Fantastic Craig so patient! Grt session- practice today in 7min my fastest tube change ever! My Confidence is high in tube change, setting/checking brakes, replacing dropped chain thanks to @repair2ride All important marginal gains. My bike serviced and ready for #ChallengeRoth. Highly recommend @repair2ride and in the comfort of your home :-) ? Many thanks Craig. Jules.
Craig is by far and away the best bike mechanic around. He upgraded my Team Marin MTB drive gear and set the bike up, it now rides like clockwork. Also installed new cables on my Kuota Kharma road bike (not an easy task as they run internally within the frame), adjusted the gears and did general checks, finding things that had not being set up right from new. He is highly knowledgeable and has given me some really good advice on upgrades and general bike maintenance etc. Highly recommended.
I bought a new Raleigh Super Sports bike (Black) in 1961, whilst a Police Officer. I am now 78, the bike has been stripped and kept under wraps in the garage for 30 years. I contacted Craig and he collected the 'box of tricks' to re-assemble it, using any new parts required. When he delivered it to me, it looked just as good as it did when I bought it, with a very minimal amount of new parts. I would recommend Craig to anyone wanting anything to do with 'Bikes'.
I'm always a but skeptical about leaving my bike at a LBS as you never really know who's working on it! I'd spoken to Craig a few times via email whilst sourcing parts for a new road bike and although fairly confident in my abilities I wanted a Cytech trained mechanic to give it a final once over before I hit the road and felt Craig at Ride2Repair was the man for the job. Craig arrived ahead of schedule at my door (agreed prior to arrival), was friendly, polite and extremely knowledgeable - he was happy for me to stand and talk to him whilst he went over the bike and also explained a few things on the build to me which I was unsure of. I can't recommend his services enough and would have no hesitation in getting him to do any work on my bikes. The biggest benefit is he came out to me on a weekend which saved me having to take the bike to a shop!
I have been using repair2ride for just over a year now. Craig has been outstanding and helpful knowing I work shifts at the local hospital and calling out around my shifts. He was great at solving a persistant puncture problem by putting me on `bullet proof tyres and tubes`. He is now doing special bike repair days at the hospitals for the staff.
The job Craig did on my wife's bike was excellent, the suggestions on how it could be rebuilt/styled within a budget were fantastic. As for my bike no complaints. The time taken to understand the job, redefine it with his knowledge make a pleasure to hand over the cash!
