About Reflexions Counselling and Psychotherapy


Located centrally in Newcastle (Newcastle Upon Tyne), Reflexions Counselling and Psychotherapy works professionally and confidentially with men and women of all ages and from all walks of life to support them through the provision of counselling and psychotherapy services. This includes a wide range of emotional stuggles including: anger management, depression and anxiety, bereavement, abuse, male counselling issues, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties and many more.

They work collaboratively with clients in a warm, supportive manner to assist them in moving forwards in their life.

Helping clients to address their needs, the company provides men and women with a professional counselling and psychotherapy service. Therapy is provided by highly qualified staff in warm, comfortable rooms. The aim of the service is that each client is helped to efficiently resolve their issues. The purpose of treatment is to facilitate lasting, positive change. Treatment methodologies include Cognitive Behavioural Therapies, Solution Focused work, Transactional Analysis, Guided Imagery and others.

Reflexions Counselling and Psychotherapy is lead by Principal Therapist Ken McLeish, calling on specialist psychotherapists and counsellors as required. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy, a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology. Additional qualifications include a Masters in Business Administration and Sports Science (sports psychology) and two other degree level qualifications. He is also a qualified and experienced lecturer in psychology, counselling and sports and exercise psychology.

Practicing an integrative approach to treatment, he is a member of the UKCP (United Kingdon Council for Psychotherapy), and the British Psychological Society (BPS).
