Excellent course providing great detail.

I completed an f-gas course at red dragon training. Steve and Eric really did go into great detail to ensure we understood what we were being taught. The course was intense but well worth it. Highly recommend to anyone considering taking an f-gas course.

Great experience at Red Dragon I completed a Cat II course, All the information provided was transparent including pricing. Wouldnt hesitate using Red Dragon for any future Refrigeration courses in the future.

Great course - practical and proper training if you want to install air con. Don’t go for rubbish shorter courses this one is the one you need.

A lot to take in if your not mechanically minded as the course is advertised for the public, but the boys at Red Dragon go out there way to help, assist, Make you comfortable around mechanics and to see the job done, great course and a very friendly service. I would strongly recommend it even if your in a admin job, let Steve and Erich know and they can give you that extra push you need and see the results you want :).

Gain alot of experience attending this course, I will admit it was alot to take in over the week especially not coming from a plumbing or heating background, Steve and Eric were brilliant in their teaching techniques also providing any of the the kit you need at their shop, I'd highly recommend this company thanks guys Luke Gyomrey.

I was trained by Steve and team for the 10-day F-Gas Cat 1 course in March 2026. I did a lot of background research across the other training providers prior to booking with Red Dragon Air Conditioning and am pleased to say I had a great experience with them. Very happy to recommend. A lot of work goes in to teaching this course- there is a lot of content to get through. However, Steve and his team do a very good job of breaking the theory down and pacing the class so that nobody gets left behind. Provided you are prepared to put the work in to do some reading / homework in the evenings (not too arduous, but also not to be dismissed), and provided you are not afraid to ask questions (always encouraged) you will do very well. But keep in mind this is not an 'attendance' course where you just have to turn up and sign in. I am happy to recommend Steve and his team and will be returning shortly for the Flammables upgrade course. Thanks again guys.

A short but constructive course, I left feeling like I learned a lot of the fundamental principles of brazing and the science behind it. Well delivered by instructors that clearly know their trade.

I recently completed the 5-day F Gas Category 2 course and wanted to share my experience. Overall, Steve and his team are exceptionally knowledgeable and experienced professionals who clearly know their subject matter inside and out. The course content is comprehensive and covers a substantial amount of technical information within the five-day timeframe. While this thoroughness is valuable, I found the pace quite intensive, high expectations regarding participants' baseline knowledge, which works well for experienced professionals seeking certification but can be challenging for those newer to the field. I would strongly recommend that the course prerequisites clearly indicate the need for foundational HVAC knowledge, or better yet, make the 3-day preparatory course mandatory before attending the main certification. This would ensure all participants start with similar baseline knowledge and allow the course to flow more smoothly for everyone. The class dynamics varied significantly - some participants were highly experienced professionals simply obtaining their certification, while others (like myself) were learning the fundamentals. This created some hesitation when asking questions, as I was conscious of potentially slowing down the group's progress. The instructors' expertise ultimately helped me achieve my goal of obtaining the F Gas certification, and I'm now looking forward to installing air conditioning systems. .Moreexpand_more

Took my Kia Sorento to have the Air Conditioning sorted. The service is 1st class, they carried out a intensive investigation to why is wasn't blowing very cold. Kept me well informed of all work carried out and of the cost. After fitting two new pipes a re-gas with a presure test were more yahn happy to wait a fee day before I could collect my car. I'd CERTAINLY recommend them very professional many thanks for sorting my car.
