What a fantastic week. A varied and fun programme that contains something for everyone and helped me find strengths I didn't know I had. I have never done a fitness camp before and thoroughly recommend Mark and his team. The group really bonded and supported each other no matter what their fitness level. The pre and post training support is fantastic. Thank you Reboot!
After working from home since March, going to Reboot was definitely the best decision I have made this year. The team were fantastic at pushing our group in each challenge. We had mixed levels of ability in the group but it worked so well with so much encouragement and laughter at the same time. I am so looking forward to my 3 month fitness plan and its results. I would highly recommend this bootcamp topped off by the most amazing scenery.
Just completed a brilliant residential bootcamp with Reboot Dorset, in Bournemouth. I'm now total revitalised! Full range of inventive activities, with a great group of very supportive fellow 'bootcampers' and very knowledgeable staff. All abilities catered for, and you're pushed to your limits. Fab location,excellent healthy food. You'll also come away with individual programs to follow and a 3 month support program to maintain the results of your hard work. Can't recommend highly enough. I completed the two Isolation Bootcamps run by Mark and Sue. Overall the experience and benefits of the two weeks were fantastic. With being stuck at home it really gave a focus for each week of the camp and helped me physically so much and also mentally as well. The exercise plans were easy to follow (bit harder to do! ) but I came through them all well and highlighted things that I never do much of and am looking forward to improving them in the weeks ahead using the daily schedules provided at the end of the week. The meal recipes, eating plans and nutrition guidance and with mindfulness/relaxation guidance it really was so much more than just doing press ups in the garden! Reboot Dorset did a great job and thoroughly recommend you take a look at what they can offer you!
In May 2020, after being in Lockdown for over a month, I took part in Mark’s Isolation Bootcamp. As a previous client on Mark’s residential bootcamps I have always loved the variation of training and sessions Mark has provided, the additional relaxation, nutritional and inspirational resources, the delicious healthy food and the support of the group and Mark and his team. In signing up for his Isolation bootcamp, I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect or how it would work in the ‘virtual’ world. What Mark delivered was 5 full days of training sessions, relaxation and nutrition advice, video tutorials on how to complete sessions and correct excercise techniques, a full menu of recipes for all meals and snacks, daily zoom chats and tons of support from a watsapp group of everyone else who was on the bootcamp. What I managed to achieve in those 5 days alongside working part time and sharing the childcare for my 13 month old daughter was fantastic! I took part in 3 exercise sessions per day, I got myself out running for the first time in 2 years, improved my performance and added variety to my lockdown training regime. The fact that there was great flexibilty about when you could complete a session meant I was able to work round my other commitments but still fit in all the training. An added bonus was getting pictures and messages from all round the country of people out and about completing they're training and supporting everyone else to stay motivated. Everyone in the group was able to ask Mark questions during the Zoom chats and it really did feel like a team effort. Finally, the amount of time and effort which Mark, his wife Sue and the whole Reboot team put into this boot camp was just amazing. The quality of the resources which we were given and the video tutorials, alongside Mark's no-nonsense approach to getting on with it, meant that everyone who took part got something out of it. If you are looking for something to give you hope, inspiration and focus during these difficult and strange times, then I can wholeheartedly recommend this bootcamp. *I train a lot but since lockdown and really just before I was getting nothing from my gym classes and my running I had lost interest in. I joined the boot camp and really enjoyed mixing up the training and learning new sessions. The online videos and zoom calls helped with motivation and being part of a group. I have definitely got my mojo back and looking forwards to continuing to train with a variety. Information that boot camp supplied covered all that you needed. Really enjoyed my 5 days. The Reboot Isolation Boot Camp is like having Mark Hooks as your own personal fitness trainer. Via a 5-day programme of intensive training sessions (each with indoor and outdoor options), healthy eating recipes, exercise demonstration videos plus live Zoom Q&A sessions, his new online boot camp has given me the tools and confidence to create my own weekly training plans that will help me achieve my health and fitness goals. Best of all, you do the boot camp in your own home environment with minimal equipment needed. I can’t recommend it highly enough.
Fabulous bootcamp in a beautiful period house. The staff are extremely friendly and professional and made even a cold damp morning a fun experience. Great surroundings, especially as it is by the beach and 'that hill'! Met a lovely group of people and can't fault any of the meals. Sandie the chef was wonderful and catered to my vegan needs perfectly. I would highly recommend this bootcamp to anyone looking for a new experience in a fabulous environment.
I can't recommend enough this boot camp. You won't believe how many differing exercises you can fit into a day. Mark is an excellent trainer. He is very knowledgeable, attentive to detail and extremely amusing. The variety and location of training sessions (garden, field, seaside, sportshall, pool) means that you are never bored of a session. The team exercises ensure you focus on the competition not the exercise. It is meticulously thought out. The food provided is healthy and nutritious and incredibly delicious. I thought I would be constantly hungry but wasn't and managed to drink water and ginger/lemon tea without feeling deprived. We had a fantastic group of people of varying ages and degrees of fitness. Everyone comes away having exercised the hell out of themselves and exhilarated. . Just sad it's over.Moreexpand_more
Reboot was fantastic, the guys who run it have a very in depth knowledge of fitness and nutrition and are amazing at explaining this so you can put it into practice at home! Reboot is for all levels of fitness, Im currently training for the marines and left aching like I haven't ached in ages so id recommend it to anyone!
5 days that will test you physically and mentally and when you come out the other end, it has done exactly what it promises, you are REBOOTED! Mark has designed a programme that will cater to every level of fitness, it’s not where you start but how you finish. Plenty of variety with the activities, you will not have time to be bored. Accommodation is stunning and the food delicious. I highly recommend the whole experience. .
I had the best time at bootcamp. As an older woman who has only started exercising regularly in the last few years, I was very apprehensive. However, Mark was brilliant, very encouraging and adapting all the sessions to suit the fitness of the individuals. I came away inspired and motivated to reach my fitness goals.
I had a fab week at Reboot and have recently arrived home feeling like I’ve had great fun and done a lot of work! Everything about the arrangements were brilliant. Mark and his team are absolute experts. All the advice given and activities organised challenged me and they were all so enjoyable that I didn’t notice I was building muscle and getting fitter. The accommodation was comfy, warm and spacious. The other clients were friendly and sociable. I can’t praise it highly enough - if you’re thinking about it, book! You definitely won’t regret it.
Thank you for the best 5 days! I feel fitter, stronger and so much more knowledgeable on my fitness capabilities. I have been so mentally busy with the exercising I have had the most perfect break from work. I am very sad for the bootcamp to end! It has been such an amazing experience, I hope to be back with you next year. Thank you for keeping the momentum and thank you for the REBOOT!
We arrived as a dozen nervous individuals with a whole host of abilities and reasons for being here. We’re leaving a team of friends with shared memories and many, many laughs. We’ve cheered each other on as we've been pushed to our limits, laughing and encouraging the whole way. If you’re reading this, you’ve already thought about it. Now find the time, money and make it happen. You won’t regret it. The food, the location, the accommodation, variation of sessions, inspiration and amazing encouragement from awesome, highly qualified and experienced trainers is incredible. Do it. Book it. Reboot it.
I came to Reboot already a keen gym goer and fitness enthusiast, expecting to enjoy the week and go home a bit fitter than I came. I got so much more out of the week than I could have imagined, and achieved so much more than I thought was possible in 5 days. Mark and his team were motivating and energetic, making sure everyone ended each session feeling like they worked hard! The huge variety of workouts meant we were never bored and there really was something for everyone. The food was great, accommodation was very comfortable but what really made the week special was the way the group (and instructors) formed a close knit team and supported each other throughout. Thank you Mark and co. For an unforgettable week!
This 5-day course, which I completed in August, was the most positive experience of my life for nutrition, fitness and attitude - a complete immersion in all aspects of well-being, under an amazing team headed by the inspirational ex-para Mark Hooks, supported by Sel and the magician of the kitchen Sandie. Having had a very patchy history with exercise, sports and diet, I have found the the wrap-around programme - training plans leading up to and for 3 months after the camp - to be a framework I can commit to. Handing in the training sheets each week by email to Mark ensures you meet your goal as your continue being mentored remotely. During the week, the activities of the course were achievable by everyone there, whilst always challenging everybody - including the team events (hockey, basketball, field and track, power-bags), and individual challenges (runs, strength training, circuits, hill-sprints, boxercise). There is a strong focus on developing independence, whether stretching routines, making choices, or encourage goal-formation and commitment. The presentations on diet, fitnees and mindset have been easy to apply. I have already been using the recipes provided on the course, and made some adjustments to my diet (whole milk, hydration, vegetables rather than fruit, 3 meals/3 snacks, avoiding processed foods). To change my goal from weight-loss to better overall strength, speed and endurance has also been an important change of mind, though I did also lose 5 lbs stone on the course! The most important aspect is the mind-set encouraged by the course - you are really spurred on by the leaders and the supportive mentality of the other attendees that they promote. We had a most amazing week with Mark and his Reboot team. Excellent and diverse sport activities each day. Outstanding delivery of the most important points in order to keep the fitness after the week. Wonderful location and excellent, fresh and healthy food. Lots of team based activities which help everyone to make progress. Individual assessments of progress and 12 weeks individual training plans. I would go again immediately!
