Paul and Joel decorated our bathroom kitchen…Lounge/dinner. Hall stairs and landing. Fitted 3 x new doors , they did a fantastic job they have a great eye for detail end results are fantastic. They are hard working, cleaning up behind them self's every night. Paul also helped me pick the colours, Whilst decorating Paul smelt gas, I called gas engineer out there was a gas leak that we didn't notice, if it wasn't for Paul things could of been a lot worse a big thank you. Paul and Joel are professional and friendly highly recommend will definitely use again. Love our home thank you both so much .

The work was to re-decorate the Lounge, Dining Room, Kitchen, Hall, Stairs and Landing. Also, to remove the ground floor carpet and provide and fit new carpet to lounge and dining room. The masking off and preparation was meticulous and the overall finish was excellent. Where necessary, all fittings and furniture were removed from the room and then put back with care. The overall effect is a transformation. My only criticism is the degree of obfuscation over the initial quotation and the final account.

Discussed a project with Paul in April, got a seemingly good price and all booked in for november, all that was left was to decide paint colours and carpet. Very hard to get hold of for months. Finally end of October they came around to discuss, then a few days before it was supposed to start they upped the price given earlier and stated they may not be able to get the carpet and we should look at a different carpet supplier. Obviously we had no time to do this so cancelled the whole project. edit: after reviews and cancellation, they jumped into gear and spent the time to sort out the issues, so we will go ahead. Will update once the work is done. Final Edit:All the work has been completed, my initial review was of frustration due to a little lack of communication and thinking the work wouldn't be going ahead BUT that apart the actual work, standard, professionalism, added little bits that were done but not discussed to make the finished product better was amazing. Paul and his son Joel have made an excellent job of painting the outside windows, doors and fascias on our house. They worked very hard and were friendly and polite and only took a couple of days. We'll use them in future and recommend their service. Rob and Avril Maidment.

We recently had our granny annexe decorated from top to bottom, we couldn't be more pleased with the result. Paul and Joel arrived on time to quote the work needed they also returned again on time to carry out the work. They took great care masking off all switches and things like the shower head. Would definitely recommend these guys as I said top job, thanks again Paul &Joel.

Our house was tired and dated and needed all walls re-plastering and downstairs floors levelled and resurfaced. Of those we contacted Redec responded quickly, came when they said they were going to come and gave a quote which they subsequently honoured. The business owner is clearly experienced and was easy to engage with. His opinions on what could be done and how were valuable and subsequently proved to be right. There was no pressure to employ the company but the impression made was such that we agreed to take them on. We were not disappointed. They were always punctual and worked hard. The quality of the work was first rate and the attention to detail telling. They finished on time and our downstairs was transformed. We were so pleased we asked them to complete the same work in bedrooms. This work was completed a few weeks later on time and for the budget agreed. Again we were so pleased we engaged the company to clean and repaint the exterior. This too was completed on time a few weeks later. My wife and I are pensioners and need to be able to trust those we employ to do a competent job for a reasonable price. I've used the same garage for 20 plus years to service our cars, any future work on the house will be offered to Redec. Paul and his son decorated my bedroom in super fast time. It looks lovely. I’m really pleased. Great service, lovely friendly guys. They did a great job and left everything clean and tidy. They even put my bedroom furniture back for me. I’d definitely use them again.

Re-Dec has transformed the exterior of our house from the shabby end of terrace that it was into a sparkling white one that we can be proud of. They always arrived when they said they would and never messed us around. Always putting in a hard days work, even during some extremely hot summer weather in 2021. I can't fault the work Re-Dec did. In addition to the exterior work they re-painted a bathroom ceiling that was covered in unslighlty mould. I had despaired of ever solving that particular problem but the specialist paint they used has completely solved it. It has been six months and there has been zero reoccurance of any mould!

I am so pleased with the transformation of my living room. Paul and his team were efficient, tidy and completed it within the time frame we agreed. I will definitely be using them again and would recommend them to anyone who needs their services. One big Thankyou from a very happy customer.

Really Cares About The Result. I called Re-Dec when I needed to update a bedroom at my parents home to allow my Dad to return from hospital for care. This meant we were on a very tight timescale and had specific requirements in making the space as accessible and as practical as possible. I got multiple quotes for the work and the price was fair and Paul worked really hard to fit the project into our tight timescales. We are very grateful for this. Several other important things that set R- Dec apart:The first is, by understanding what we needed and how the space would be used, Paul was able to offer additional suggestions and advice, that were better than our original request. For example, we had initially thought about papering the space but he advised that from a cleanliness and practicality point of view, vinyl matt paint would allow us to be able to clean and wipe the walls. And that financially, plastering and painting would not only be cheaper but a better quality finish given the quality of the existing walls. Secondly, the company clearly communicated all of the steps and stuck to them. If they said they would be there 8.30 - 3 then they were there 8.30 -3. I never had to chase them and they always completed the task they had said as they would and left the space clean and accessible as possible in between visits. Finally, dealing with myself (remotely), my brothers and mum locally it was quite tricky to get us all in agreement on the way forward at times but Paul took my calls and responded really professionally, even when my Mum had a last minute change of heart about the colour scheme! I would recommend Re-Dec to other people readily and hope to use him again in the future to further renovate my parents home.Moreexpand_more

Right from the start Re-Dec were excellent. Their knowledge was good and their quote was very competitive. The workmanship was excellent and they are definitely perfectionists. They were very hardworking and pleasant to have around during the day. They gave our home a complete make-over, painting outside windows, doors and fascia boards. They cleaned, repaired and renewed our guttering and repaired and made 'new' our garage door ! This was the first time we have used Re-Dec but after this experience we are already planning for their next visit. They will be returning to install a new kitchen and 're-dec' each of our rooms one by one. Re-Dec have a good work ethic and did a great job.

What a rare find in this day and age. I really must take a moment to note the praises of Re-Dec. The proprietor Paul called at the house to discuss my requirements. I had just had a bad experience with another company who attempted to charge me £98 over the agreed price, so when we met I was very much on the defensive. His prices were hard to beat, and his workmanship without fault. 10/10. I was also able to take advantage of his (free) expert advice, and knowledge of local suppliers, I made a substantial saving on 5 replacement doors. I can pat myself on the back for a good choice of craftsman. Well done me! And of course Re-Dec, no wonder they won the prestigious Torfaen wide award for the most recommended decorator. I have to say I was really pleased with my fully fitted bathroom. It was a nightmare of a job but Paul and his employee Stripped and re-fitted the whole bathroom including new ceiling, tiled floors, wall to wall tiling, new suite - the lot! And all in one week! They were clean and tidy and made it a pleasure to have them around. Very nice people. Oh and above all, the price was spot on! Thoroughly pleased. I now contact Paul when ever I need anything done. If he cant do it, he will recommend me to someone else.

Re-Dec made a very good job of painting my house. They finished on time and started on time. A job well done.
