Very flexible and accommodating in fitting us in for installation of utility cupboards. Installation completed quickly and efficiently. Raymond was very helpful in going to pick up some items missing from our order from supplier. Happy with the work.

Really pleased with the fitting of a new bathroom unit, mirror and sink. There was a lot of precise measuring and cutting required and the end result is very solid and looks fabulous. Ray is a very clean and tidy worker and was very respectful of our home. Wouldn't hesitate to use again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Ray and his team installed a kitchen and flooring in our house recently and we're really pleased with the results.

Ray and his team worked hard to completely rip out and fit my new kitchen. He always kept me informed as to when he would be there and what the plan was and he finished on schedule despite a setback with a piece of the kitchen- from the manufacturer I may add, not Ray. Ray and his team were tidy workers, got on with the job and were friendly and very easy to deal with. I'm really happy with my new kitchen and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ray to anyone needing a kitchen or bathroom installation.

Kitchen worktop installation. Super professional service, good communication and as planned. I highly recommend it. Clean and accurate. Made in very good time and with attention to detail. The carpenter even went a step further and used his experience and creativity to solve the problem the client had. Proposed a solution that effectively helped to make better use of space.

Where to start! Ray (and his flurry of highly qualified tradesmen) completely transformed our house in the space of 6 months. Ray worked tirelessly through one of the coldest winters we've ever experienced, in a house with no heating, to make sure we had everything completed in time to host Christmas for our family. He did EVERYTHING - from removing our fireplace, plastering walls and ceilings, fitting new skirting boards and flooring, the full refurb of our kitchen (including fitting a complex wet underfloor heating system, knocking a wall down, resizing worktops, electricals, fitting appliances, decorating) and refurbing our master bathroom, ensuite and cloakroom (including tiling, plumbing, fitting shelves and mirrors). Our house looks incredible - and there isn’t a part of it that wasn't completed by Ray. If there was ever anything out of his (long list of) specialities that he couldn't do, Ray had a contact he could recommend and 99% of the time they would pull through for us. This alleviated so much stress for my partner and I, as it meant we didn't have to go through the painful process of sourcing trustworthy tradesmen in a new area. Ray and his team were a part of our household for the latter of 2022. Cups of tea, picking up breakfast for one another, giving each other lifts to the station - we were like an odd little family. Even our dog loved them (and is very sad now the house is so quiet)! If you have Ray on a job, you'll get an incredibly hardworking, genuinely down-to-earth guy, who is trustworthy, reliable, positive (even when there's hurdles in a project) and highly skilled. He'll always provide fair pricing and will go above and beyond to help you achieve your vision. We could not recommend him enough! He'll always be on the top of our list for any home renovation projects.Moreexpand_more

The job entailed demolition of a floor to ceiling block built larder, removal of ceiling and wall tiles, removal of flooring and old kitchen, moving a wall mounted central heating radiator to a different wall and moving the gas supply for a new free standing gas cooker. The job also required a new, modern mains electrical consumer unit, new ceiling and under cupboard lights plus a new extractor cooker hood + laying new LVT flooring. The job involved an electrician, plasterer, plumber/gas engineer, painter/decorator and of course, a kitchen fitter. As a retired engineer, I am a bit on the fussy side when it comes to quality of craftsmanship and attention to detail so I am pleased to report that I was very happy with all of the work carried out. I would happily recommend Ray and his team to anyone looking to have a new kitchen fitted or modification to an existing kitchen. Ray is exceptionally hard working and very much has a “can do” attitude. Thank you to Ray and all his team for a job very well done. .

Quick response to initial contact and support with the kitchen plan and order. Ray and his team worked quickly, with the least disruption possible and were respectful of my home. Services were well coordinated between various tradesmen. I am very pleased with my new kitchen, fitted very well and with attention to detail. Thanks to all the team, would not hesitate to ask them back or recommend to others.

Ray fitted new kitchin cupboard doors due to delamination on previous ones. This also entailed fitting new end panels, posts, plinths, cornice and pelmets. Ray and his team were all respectful of my home, worked tidily, did a really professional job and did any other odd jobs that I hadn't thought of. It was obvious from first impressions that Ray would do a magnificent job and he did.

Ray is highly recommended by me. He was tasked with a complete strip-down of my kitchen and re-build. He was tidy and clean and kept dust and debris to a minimum. Work was completed on schedule and budget. After a few months, I wanted some minor adjustments and changes and Ray came out on a weekend, performed the work and made no charge for his time and labour. I would recommend Ray without hesitation to friends and family and it was good to know that I had use a local trade/business. SC, Stevenage.

Ray got the job done and also any other items that came up along the way he would sort out for me. I had a rental flat that was pretty much completely gutted and renovated by Ray and his team. Excellent communication and replies to texts and messages straight away. Excellent Value.

Ray recently did work for us refitting our downstairs WC. He did a great job, was very good at communicating the process. We are really pleased with the end result and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Ray was polite and professional with a 'can do' attitude. I was having difficulty finding someone to take out a fitted oven, make good the work surface and fit a new range - not a huge job but. Fiddly. Ray was happy to do it and made a very professional, neat job. As a result I got him back to assemble and fit some larder drawers. Had to wait a bit as he was busy but thought it was worth it. Ray and his assistant fitted them in record time at a very reasonable price- delighted with the result. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Raymond and his work force carried out a knock through to open up our front room and kitchen to form a open plan on our property. He talked us through every aspect of what was involved and I have waited a full year to write this review. As I’m in a different side of the building trade I feel it’s best to write a review later rather than straight away. So here it is! Very nice honest guy and work force. Everything from done with no problems, workmanship was very high spec, From kitchen, tiling, electrics, to steelworks and plastering and all final fiddly bits, I’m very fussy which is why I waited so long to send a review but my wife and I are so happy with what our new kitchen and living area looks like. And last but not least, I’m a firm believer in keeping customers property clean and tidy at all times, they did this. Well done and thanks very much Phil and Eileen.

Contrary to the other reviews, we had a disappointing experience with Ray. Unfortunately, we had to ask him to leave midway through the project to cut our losses and get our kitchen completed by another fitter. · Adhoc and unreliable attendance on site, would visit for a few hours and rush off again. · Wall cabinets were fitted using only lightweight plasterboard fixings and fell down a few days later (thankfully no one was hurt). We had to replace the damaged kitchen cabinets at our own cost. · Components were used in the wrong places - e. G. Using an interior shelf as a makeshift external panel. In addition this was incorrectly cut short. In the end we had to re-order these items (again, at our own expense). · Corners had been fixed using wrong panels - see pictures of cracks on edging, these needed to be replaced. · Several damaged panels that again had to be replaced at our cost (they had clearly been stood on, see pictures).· It became obvious that he was spreading himself thinly over multiple projects - e.G. Left one of his friends to complete the floor tile grouting. We are still in the process of fixing it and re-doing several areas where the finish is inadequate. See pictures for the above issues. When we informed him that we wanted to terminate the project, no attempt was made to discuss and look at fixing the issues. We are now over £1,500 out of pocket as a result of poor workmanship and lack of commitment to complete a job.Moreexpand_more
Response : In response to this review, that only only tells half the truth. the customer fails to mention that the main reason that their was an issue was because the electrician had an accident on site resulting in dislodging to wall units that then in turn fell off the wall and damaged the base unis below, this was on the last day we were on site as after that incident over the weekend customers decided they weren't confident in the work, they also fail to say that when the electrician had this accident resulting in the damaged units, i was on site within an hour... i'm not sure on the comment regarding floor grouting, it was carried out by a competent worker, this was a 40 sq metre floor, and judging by the photos i can vagely see 2 little bits that would of needed touching up, just a simple snag that would of been made good if we was given the chance. their was quite a considerable amount of money still owed to me on this job as i wasnt paid to much and the customer agreed on the day with myself that they would not pay me anymore to cover costs to finish and replace the couple of items which i agreed to, even after i was asked to leave a week later i still got my rubbish removal guy to go there and clear the rubbish as this had been paid for, basically, an unfortunate accident which was easily fixable led to this, and maybe the customers were to hasty in asking me to stop works. i have no problem with negative feedback but would of been nice if they had told the whole storyThanksRay.Moreexpand_more

Ray and his team did a few jobs for me during my kitchen renovation, all to an excellent standard. Darren screed levelled the floor and installed my new tiles. Ray installed tile backing boards to the wall and then to finish his team plaster skimmed the walls. The end result is a quality finish with a very high standard of workmanship. They were all very friendly and interested in the work they were doing and turned up on time every day working very hard. The prices are also very competitive and I would thoroughly recommend Ray and would be happy to have him back for more work in the future.

Ray and his team did an excellent job installing a Kitchen for us, including: flooring, tiling, plastering, extraction fan instillation, cabinet and worktop installation. Ray managed the whole thing so it was stress free for us despite running into a couple of issues along the way. Professional, polite and a high quality finish.

Raymond and his team replaced a kitchen, utility and a bathroom. To be honest, there were all sorts of issues, Ray pretty much had to take the house back to brick! He was able to work around everything, dealing with issues as they came up! Many thanks Raymond!
